House Majority Whip Tom Emmer has reintroduced his Central Bank Digital Currency Anti-Surveillance State Act, which would put the brakes on the Federal Reserve’s exploration of a digital version of the dollar. CBDCs would only serve to intensify surveillance activities by the state, which is why we MUST support Emmer and his CBDC Act! STOP THE SURVEILLANCE STATE!

Emmer’s updated bill primarily seeks to prohibit “intermediated CBDCs” – CBDCs issued by the Fed but managed by financial intermediaries such as retail banks, a strategy that China employs for its digital yuan.

Allow me to provide you some background on CBDCs

CBDCs, or Central Bank Digital Currency, is a digital form of central bank money that is widely available to the general public.

"Central bank money" refers to money that is a liability of the central bank. In the United States, there are currently two types of central bank money: physical currency issued by the Federal Reserve and digital balances held by commercial banks at the Federal Reserve.

It is claimed that CBDCs would counteract financial shocks and help to stabilize aggregate demand and inflation. 

But there's a problem. CBDCs for one could be controlled, imagine a targeted hacking attack on an economy that is entirely reliant on a digital currency. Imagine your government being able to surveil every transaction you make, imagine your government being able to weaponize their digital currency against you. 

11 countries, including China, a surveillance state, have fully transitioned to CBDCs. 

Yesterday I mentioned inflation, how sUN Tzu, the great military strategist, would weaponize inflation, make a country's currency useless, which in turn would sap the strength and wealth from the people, causing the nation to collapse. I want you to recall, I said that the strategy sUN Tzu used to destroy nations was also being used on us, that our inflation was engineered, so WHO’s to say that the so-called solutions are not also a part of a scheme? 

CBDCs are not the solution to inflation, they are a tool to destroy our nation, to push it to collapse. They will allow for a surveillance state to form – they are nothing more than a CCP-style surveillance tool that would be used to undermine the American way of life. 

That is exactly why we & Congress MUST support House Majority Whip Tom Emmer Central Bank Digital Currency Anti-Surveillance State Act. We must put a STOP to CBDCs, we must say NO to their use! WE MUST STOP the Surveillance State! We must fight and take a stand!
