This May, efforts by the Texas House to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton were made, under the premise that he had committed bribery, abuse of office and obstruction. 

The Texas House voted overwhelmingly to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton, suspending him from office over allegations of these misconducts.

The vote to adopt the 20 articles of impeachment was 121-23.

As Attorney General, Ken Paxton has worked tirelessly to investigate the fraudulent elections of 2020. He is said to be one of Trump’s closest allies in Texas, along with Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. He has led an office that initiated lawsuits that overturned or blocked major Biden and Obama administration policies, particularly on immigration, pursued voter fraud claims, cracked down on big tech for censorship, and targeted hospitals that provided gender care to minors. All amazing feats!

Paxton also recently launched an inquiry into the pharmaceutical companies Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Moderna, investigating allegations that the companies misrepresented the safety and efficacy of their coronavirus vaccines.

He has proved himself to be one of the few sane voices amongst the congressional ranks, which is undoubtedly why he is being targeted with impeachment. 

So who is leading this impeachment? 

Well, none other than The speaker of the Texas state legislature, Rep. Dade Phelan (R). Who has appointed over a dozen Democrats to chair committees in the Texas legislature, despite the GOP holding a super majority in the chamber – Strange, if I do say so myself?  

If you haven't heard about Phelan, here's what President Donald Trump had to say about him: “he’s another Mitch McConnell,” and  “Phelan is not fighting for the people of Texas” and “should immediately move the Forensic Audit bill.” 

You get the gist – Phelan isn't our favorite guy, and on top of his pre-existing problems, he also has reportedly sided with Democrats to reduce penalties for illegal voting.

Phelan, along with his council of the Democrats, have reignited the claims of Paxton’s misconduct, and thus, have managed to suspend him from office pending the outcome of the Senate trial which will investigate the validity of Phelan's claims. 

Do you want to know something really funny? The impeachment came after Paxton called on Republican House Speaker Dade Phelan to resign and accused him of being drunk in the Capitol. Laugh Out Loud – someone's butt hurt. 

Regardless, because Paxton is currently suspended, the efforts, investigations, and feats he has been working towards are all but halted. 

Fortunately, late August, lawyer Tony Buzbee, released a statement regarding the Paxton investigation - stating “After an investigation spanning five months in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate, interviewing over a dozen witnesses and reviewing almost 300,000 pages of documents, the two special prosecutors who were handed a blank check at taxpayers’ expense to find Ken Paxton’s bribe can’t locate one- because it never happened.” 

Let's be honest, this is another witch hunt of a true patriot that represents the people! Paxton is innocent, these fraudulent claims have been made before, and by no surprise, after 5 months of investigation, there has been NO evidence proving Phelan’s idiotic feud based claims. 

This is where I direct my attention to Congress. Do NOT allow the impeachment of Paxton on unproven claims. He is the victim of a witch hunt, hell-bent on removing true patriots from our elected positions. Support Paxton, do NOT allow for his unjust removal, represent the people and stand by Ken Paxton!
