Have you signed up for Obamacare yet? Most likely not, because the website isn’t working. It sounds like a Saturday Night Live skit, and indeed it was, this past weekend. If you didn’t see it try googling the video, it’s a hoot.
It is funny, except it is now reality!
Leave it to the federal government to force you buy something you most likely don’t need, and then fine you for NOT enrolling for something that is impossible to access.
And for all of you wondering why, in this enlightened age of technology, the government couldn’t get a website right, well…here’s the answer: THEY DIDN’T PUT OUT COMPETITIVE BIDS.
The government cannot run a business because they are not a business. Healthcare is outside their power and by forcing it we see why they shouldn’t be in our healthcare!
No, there was no need to look for a competitively-priced, competent company to handle the massive project of designing a secure and functional health insurance website.
Instead, they simply looked to Michelle Obama’s Princeton classmate, Toni Townes-Whitley, who heads up the U.S. division CGI Federal, a subsidiary of a CANADIAN company. Yup, the wealthy and well-connected Princeton classmate of Michelle is a top executive at the company that “earned” (GIVEN) the contract to build the failed Obamacare website.
Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of ’85, is senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website at Healthcare.gov. CGI Federal is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company.
This is one of the most critical undertakings our government could attempt. Let’s hand it over to the Canadians and a buddy of Michelle’s? The very same company was fired in Canada on a similar government project! The Washington Examiner learned and reported that Canadian provincial health officials last year fired the parent company of CGI Federal. This is the prime contractor for Obama’s problem-plagued Obamacare health exchange websites!!
CGI Federal’s parent company, Montreal-based CGI Group, was terminated back in September 2012 by an Ontario government health agency. They were released after the firm missed three years of deadlines and failed to deliver the province’s online medical registry.
Washington is acting like a bunch of pie-in-the-face clowns spilling out of a tiny car.
It has to stop. Obamacare is costing us too much, and I for one do not want to be on the hook for insurance which is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to secure.
Congress must investigate this NO BID and this HHS Obamacare disaster. They absolutely MUST grant the American people at least a one year delay.
I think we need to remind them that Congress works for you!
1. Obama and the Democrats told us, “You can keep your doctor. Period.”
Not true.
2. President Obama said If you like your current plan, you can keep your current plan. Period.
Not true.
3. President Obama and his administration said, premiums won’t go up and most people will get a $2500.00 reduction in cost.
Not true.
When you and I warned people about the ramifications of a law unread Domcrats called us all kinds of names including, racists, terriorts and kidnappers. When what we warned about really happened, somehow it is Conservatives fault?! WRONG.
And, in the greatest infomercial opportunity he could stage, the President, in the midst of all this website chaos, stood in the Rose Garden on national television and told Americans everything is going well with Obamacare enrollment. He reports that millions have gone on to register and that is what is causing the issues – too much demand??
Promises are all anyone has gotten from this President.
If you are tired of being lied to, if you are tired of these political games, and if you want Washington to stand up and give the American people what we deserve, tell them to delay Obamacare for at least a year. The website mess must be investigated and light must be shed on this national wealth redistribution tragedy known as Obamacare! Demand it from Congress!
56-year-old Dianne Barrette from Florida used to pay $54 a month. Starting in January, she will be kicked off that plan and her new one will run $591 a month. You read that right—she will have to pay TEN TIMES MORE than what she currently pays.
Do you hear Obama talking about that at HIS press conference? Barrette said, "I just want to know why I can't keep what I have. Why do I have to be forced into something else?"
I’ll tell you why Ms. Barrette: you can’t keep what you have because now you have to pay for all sorts of add-ons that you don’t want and don’t need, in order to redistribute your wealth to OTHER PEOPLE to make sure THEY have a plan they may not even want or need.

Obamacare is only going to get worse. Every single Member of Congress who voted for it—mostly Democrats—and every single Member who refused to fight it—mostly weak and politically opportunistic Republicans—will to be given notice.
We deserve to have a delay for at least the next year while all the terrible things about Obamacare are exposed to the public, and we can elect a Congress that will save our American healthcare system.
Congress, including the establishment GOP, gave themselves a break. They gave big businesses a break. But the American people … we got the check! And we always will, unless we take back this country.
Not only did they try to take over a huge chunk of our failing economy—they failed spectacularly.
And then the same President who claims the buck must stop with him—claims to have known nothing about the website problems.
We should demand a break just like they gave themselves in Congress and big business. And tell them someone has to be fired for Obama’s cronyism and abject failures of leadership.
Stand strong as patriotic Americans and don’t let this Congress and this President take down this nation.
