This is an invasion — Our Congressional leaders have allowed Biden's open border policy to persist for far too long, and it is literally endangering our nation. Since Biden assumed office, over 7 million illegal immigrants have crossed the US southern border. Yes, you read that correctly—7 MILLION. Immigration must return to standard, proper processes that ensure we are not allowing criminal activity, drug trafficking, and human trafficking across our borders. We must HALT this invasion and CLOSE our borders.

It is not surprising that an open border leads to numerous dire consequences, which we have discussed on previous occasions. To recap, young people and women are often enslaved by the cartel and forced into the black market for labor and the sex trade here in the United States, effectively making them "work off their debt" to the cartel. Approximately 85,000 unaccompanied minors are unaccounted for at this time, and unfortunately, this number continues to rise.

In addition, a flood of deadly fentanyl and other drugs flows through the weak and unattended areas of the southern border.

So, where does this leave us now?

Well, Democrat-ruled sanctuary cities are being overwhelmed. Illegal aliens are being released onto the streets of our cities every day, and it seems the federal government isn't even trying to keep track of their whereabouts. U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) cannot always obtain and does not always record migrant addresses, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) does not always validate migrant addresses prior to releasing them into the United States. According to a report released by the USBP, out of 981,671 records, 177,000 migrant addresses were either missing, invalid for delivery, or not legitimate residential locations.

It's not just the addresses that are not properly recorded. Due to a paperwork error, an illegal alien was released from jail after previously stabbing someone on a separate occasion, and now he stands accused of killing a man.

I also find it important to mention that court documents claim that Border Patrol agents temporarily separated some migrant families this summer, a practice President Joe Biden once called "abhorrent." Typical political hypocrisy!

This is insanity. Is this what our country has come to? Is this the type of humanitarian crisis our government allows? An open border has done NOTHING to help this country or the individuals who genuinely want to come to the United States for the American Dream.

The border is riddled with crime, cartels, sex trafficking, slave labor, and drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl. And WE, with our open border, are welcoming this degeneracy into our country? What the HELL?! We are allowing our country to become the very thing that so many immigrants are trying to flee from. I can't help but feel shame, disappointment, and fury. My heart truly aches for those who intended to come to this country for the American dream but are instead met with "sanctuary cities" that mirror the environments they were fleeing from. This is why we must CLOSE the BORDER!

Congress must close, secure, and reinstate the strong processes that ensured immigrants coming into the United States have good intentions, are free of criminal charges, and could help build this country to greatness! Close the damn border!
