Yesterday, House Republicans announced that they would pursue a long-overdue impeachment proceeding against the incompetent DHS Chief, Alejandro Mayorkas. While in office, Mayorkas has done nothing but break his oath, failing to uphold and prioritize national security. Alongside the Biden administration, he has allowed millions of illegal aliens to pour in through our southern border, continuously thwarting efforts by state officials to rectify the crisis. Mayorkas has to go! He has not faithfully executed his role, nor has he served the best interest of the people of the United States. Congress must be held accountable and follow through with these impeachment proceedings. We, the people, unequivocally demand Mayorkas be removed from his post—impeach him & CLOSE our Southern Border!

Mayorkas has shown time and time again that he does not serve the people, nor will he execute his office's duties faithfully. Instead, during his tenure as Secretary of Homeland Security, he has repeatedly shown no concern for our nation's security. He would rather allow millions of undocumented illegal aliens to stream through our borders, leaving tens of thousands of women and children entirely unaccounted for, while drugs and other criminal activities and organizations further infect our nation. He is plainly incompetent, corrupt, and a man who clearly holds animosity towards our nation and its people. He shows no concern whatsoever about our open border and has made no efforts to address the crises other than pointing fingers at those genuinely trying to solve the issue.

Fortunately, albeit long overdue, House Republicans are proceeding with impeachment proceedings against Mayorkas, which will begin on Wednesday, January 10th.

Now, Mayorkas, and other Democrats in their typical crying wolf fashion, are blaming Republicans for refusing to pass a funding bill that would tie together foreign aid for Ukraine, Israel, and other nations, and funding for our border. Once again, the Democrats are holding our nation's security hostage, prioritizing funding for wars over the well-being of our citizens. Enough is enough!

Congress, you are well aware of the crises at the border. During the Biden administration, you have allowed millions of undocumented illegal aliens to flood through our border. Alongside Mayorkas, who should have been at the front lines advocating for policy change and border reform, you have neglected our national security for over three years. We, the people, expect that these impeachment proceedings actually lead to the change we urgently need, not just temporary appeasement. Impeach Mayorkas and close our damn border!
