Sir David Attenborough is a patron of Population Matters, an organization working closely with the United Nations on its mission to change the way we “live, eat, learn and communicate,” known as Agenda 21.
Attenborough recently proclaimed that, “Humans are a plague on the Earth.” His view is relevant because it gives you an insight into what kind of people are driving the Agenda 21 movement, and how insignificant you and your rights are to them.
Agenda 21 was born at the 1992 Earth Summit held in Rio de Janeiro where Secretary General Maurice Strong announced, “...current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class ‐ involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.”
President George H. W. Bush signed on behalf of the United States and President Bill Clinton established the President’s Council on Sustainable Development in 1993, which gives every government cabinet agency the green light to implement Agenda 21 provisions, including:
• The step-by-step abolition of private property, primarily through the implementation of the Wildlands Project and Smart Growth
• Education of youth to prepare them for global citizenship
• Control and ultimate reduction of human population

The program is spreading rapidly throughout the United States. On June 5, 2005, at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in San Francisco the "Green Cities Declaration" and the "Urban Environmental Accords" were presented. These documents outline key objectives of Agenda 21, and you should be concerned because every mayor in attendance at the 2005 conference signed them. To-date, over 900 mayors across America have committed to participation. That is one of the reasons Agenda 21 could threaten your local area at this very moment.
“The goal is for cities to pick three actions to adopt each year,” states the action plan; which means, in the past eight years, much progress has been made toward adopting Agenda 21 directives. The result of all this progress toward “sustainability”:
High-density housing scams
Traffic congestion
Open space where access is not allowed
Government “partnering” with favored private businesses and non-profit agencies, using your tax money
Managed control over your life
Mismanagement of public utilities
Prohibitions on natural resource management leading to increased fire hazards, lack of water, and private property restrictions,
Increased taxes, fees, regulations and restrictions
The United Nations believes there will be no social justice until people in every part of the world have access to wealth redistribution, mostly courtesy of the United States. That means your prosperity is going to have to be limited and redistributed. And youth must be educated.
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) "Population Matters for Sustainable Development" June 2012 report says that a main focus of the program should be to educate youth about environmental concerns, and urges participants to begin “in the earliest childhood.”
The report also bemoans the fact that, “Human activity has already affected every country, every species and every eco-system of the plant. We have even altered the world's climate.” So you see that Sir David Attenborough’s comment about humans being a plague is not an isolated thought. According to those running Agenda 21, you, your family, and every footprint you leave behind are a big problem that needs to be contained. Like a virus.
What is interesting about Agenda 21 and its insistence that global warming is at the heart of this need for sustainability is that the timeline just doesn’t add up. The Rio de Janeiro conference took place many years before the United Nations’ IPCC released their damning report on climate change, which, subsequently, has been debunked by over 20,000 reputable scientists.
So why Agenda 21? Why the urge for “sustainability?” And who will benefit from it? Interestingly enough, George Soros is behind the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), which is in charge of local Agenda 21 activity. Follow the money. It’s not a coincidence that when Barack Obama bypassed Congress with his cap and trade regulations, he said that under his plan, “energy rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
Well if all this is in the name of preservation and salvation, where is the money going from those skyrocketing rates? Who will line their pockets with the extra money from taxes and regulations that you and I are going to have to pay after Agenda 21 takes effect in our towns?
Get to the bottom of this now and kick the U.N. out of America. Fax Congress and insist they defend our personal property rights and freedom! Congress needs to help us work at the state and federal level to block regulations meant to stifle and control American citizens and our way of life.
