It was only a matter of time. With the government shutdown now stretching into its second month, Leftists are making their move. They are pitching partial funding for border security (without any border barrier funding) but in return, President Trump would have to sign the biggest amnesty bill ever.
The Left's plan would include two permanent amnesties: one for all of the "Dreamers" that President Obama used his DACA executive order to protect (up to 1.7 million), and another for every illegal alien involved in the farming industry in this country (1.5 million).
If you're keeping score at home, that would be amnesty for 3.2 million illegal aliens.
This is what the Left has been waiting for. And now, they have Republican support!
You MUST stop them!
Yesterday, Congressman Will Hurd (R-TX) came out and blasted President Trump for prioritizing the American people's safety over helping illegal aliens. He declared that a border wall would be useless and said that calling what is happening at the Southern Border a 'crisis' is a myth.
If this name sounds familiar, it should. Hurd's plan is to steal the border wall funding and give it all away to Mexico and Central America as foreign aid. Democrats like that idea so much, they're putting it in their spending bill.
But Hurd and other spineless Open Border Republicans want something else: amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.
They don't represent the American people. They represent their corporate donors and their interests...
That is why they are demanding that the Left push for the biggest amnesty ever. You see, corporations are desperate to hire more low-wage immigrant workers. They don't care that this hurts American workers, they only care about their bottom line.
The amnesty for 1.5 million farm workers would be a gut punch to the working class and the amnesty for Obama's "dreamers" -- 1/8 of which work white collar jobs -- would steal hundreds of thousands of jobs away from middle class Americans.
And what are they offering in return? Practically nothing. Pelosi wants to install technology to serve as "electronic dogs," whatever that means. But no new border wall funding. Only funding to "repair" existing fencing.
You see, they know that if they give amnesty to 3.2 million people and don't fully secure the border, millions more illegal aliens will stream in. That is how the Left has always played this game.
President Trump is standing firm, but he can't control the cowards in Congress. It is up to YOU to hold their feet to the fire and force them to kill this amnesty bill!
Don't let them get away with this!
