Want to hear the joke of the year?
Hillary Clinton said she doesn’t believe she has ever lied to the American people.
The revelation came out during an interview with CBS’s Scott Pelley.
Of course, we can point out her ridiculous claim that she landed in Bosnia under sniper fire. Or the claim that the Americans who died in Benghazi were killed by protesters angry over a third-rate YouTube video.
Those are both completely obvious lies.
But do you know what was also a lie? In March of 2015, Hillary gave a press conference at the United Nations and proclaimed that, “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material. So I'm certainly well-aware of the classification requirements and did not send classified material.”
Which makes it all the more troubling that yesterday, the State Department announced the number of classified emails on her server had reached 1,730.
She lied. Not only that, but now we are learning that she actually put American assets at risk!
We know that Hillary had Classified emails related to North Korea’s nuclear program, the Iranian negotiations, and Pakistan’s reaction to the Bin Laden raid. Now, word is getting out that Hillary Clinton also put CIA assets in jeopardy by actually naming them in an email.
According to the latest report, Hillary used her unsecure server to discuss an Afghan national’s ties to the CIA and how he was on the agency’s payroll.
It takes years to cultivate human assets. Years to gain locals’ trust. With one email, Hillary not only put this man/woman’s life at risk, but undid years of intelligence work.
This is why it is complete BS when people say that Hillary didn’t break the law.
If you work in government and you have a security clearance, you aren’t allowed to talk about CIA intelligence assets over non-secure channels.
At best, Hillary put her personal convenience over the safety of American spies. At worst, she violated the Espionage Act. It’s plain and simple.
There has been a lot of talk about Loretta Lynch, the current Attorney General, maybe replacing Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court. She’s also responsible for prosecuting Hillary Clinton.
If she is pegged as next in line, and the Republicans successfully block her, then Hillary will not be prosecuted. Why would she? The only way Lynch would be able to get around a filibuster would be to protect Hillary and hope she wins the White House.
This is how corrupt the Obama administration is.
But this isn’t the first time we’ve dealt with corruption like this.
We have gotten a lot of emails lately challenging whether Congress can even appoint a Special Prosecutor. They can. It all goes back to the Watergate scandal and when President Nixon ordered his Attorney General to fire the prosecutor that was investigating him. At that moment, it became clear that there needed to be a mechanism to investigate the Executive branch without allowing the administration to directly interfere. The power of the Executive branch was too great to rely on self-policing.
Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is pushing for just that. He is leading the charge to get a Special Prosecutor appointed to investigate Hillary’s email crimes. But he can’t do this on his own!
With Republican control of both chambers of Congress, this is easy. But the powers that be – in both parties – don’t want Hillary to go down. They are protecting her.
It is up to you. It is up to me. It is up to all of us to get this done.
And it isn’t going to happen by just sitting back. The only way Hillary gets thrown in prison is if you rise up right now and demand it!
We’ve got one prominent Senator on our side. Let’s take this all the way!
