This is absolutely disgusting. Yesterday, while all eyes were on the State of the Union, the Mexican government was chartering buses and carrying the thousands of illegal aliens in the migrant caravan north to the US border.
But instead of traveling to the well-fortified San Ysidro border crossing like last time, the buses dropped the migrants at a part of the border with barely any fencing. Take a look at the aerial photo above. That is what the border around Eagle Pass looks like. It's wide open.
Right now, more than two thousand caravan migrants are gathered just outside our border, planning their assault. The minute they step one toe onto American soil, they are afforded full due process rights and will be given an immigration hearing. They aren't trying to evade detection... they want to get caught so they can take advantage of the loopholes in our immigration laws.
They deliberately traveled to an unguarded part of the border and the Mexican government was just caught red-handed using YOUR taxdol lars to help these invaders!
President Trump announced last night that he was deploying 3,750 combat troops to the border to confront this invasion. Trump had no choice because the caravan deliberately went to a part of the border -- Eagle Pass -- that is not heavily guarded. The border fence abruptly ends at the city limits. All these caravans need to do is walk a mile outside of the city and they can just wade across the Rio Grande and into the United States.
You see, the last caravan went to the San Ysidro port of entry because they wanted a confrontation. They stormed the fortified checkpoint to provoke Border Patrol agents into responding with tear gas.
This caravan is smarter. They're going to a part of the border without serious fencing so they can just sneak across. And Mexico is literally helping them do it.
Last night, President Trump laid out his vision for securing the border. It includes fixing our horribly outdated immigration laws and erecting more than 230 miles of new border barriers. Democrats are vowing to block it all!
Right now, Republicans and Democrats are meeting behind closed doors to negotiate a border security bill. But Republicans can't seem to cave quickly enough. They are already taking the border wall off the table!
At least two thousand migrants are gathered at the border now. Thousands more are on the way. If they rush this unguarded portion of the border, it will be impossible to stop them.
Our today goal is to bombard Congress with at least a quarter million FaxBlasts today demanding two things:
1) Congress must immediately cut off foreign aid to Mexico and other countries caught helping these illegal alien caravans. If they want to charter buses for illegals, then they must lose their access to American foreign aid!
2) Congress must pass President Trump's immigration compromise as-written. That includes closing the asylum loopholes these caravans take advantage of and building the wall on the border!
The polls from last night show that 72 percent of Americans support President Trump's border security plan, including the border wall. The momentum is on our side. It is up to YOU to hold Congress' feet to the fire and stop them from caving on this!
