Today is the March for Life. All week, the White House had hinted that the President would send a representative to the March for Life.
We finally know who that will be. For the first time in history, the Vice President of the United States will speak at the rally on behalf of the unborn. There is also word that march organizers will be invited back to the White House after the event.
Pence will be the highest-ranking politician ever to attend the March for Life. This is significant.
As you saw earlier this week with Donald Trump’s executive order reinstating the Mexico City policy, we have a pro-life administration for the first time in nearly a decade.
Republican Congressmen and Senators, and even some Democrats, are all ears today. The media will do everything the avoid covering the march, but they won’t be able to drown you out!
We have two pieces of legislation that we are demanding that Congress pass.
The first is the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. The second is the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
Together, these two bills will eliminate the scourge of late-term abortions and require that any child born alive after a botched abortion receive life-saving medical care.
It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of pro-life marchers will descend on Washington DC today.
Our goal is to send one fax to Congress for every marcher. We are looking to bombard Congress with hundreds of thousands of faxes today demanding that they pass these common sense bills!

We all remember Kermit Gosnell. This horror of a human being was an abortionist in Philadelphia who was convicted and sentenced to life in prison without parole after law enforcement discovered the bodies of pre-mature children in the clinic’s freezer.
These children were born alive and while they cried, kicked, and grabbed looking for help, Gosnell stabbed them in their spines with a pair of scissors.
This is graphic, I know. But you need to know what we are up against. This isn’t choice. This is murder. This is infanticide.
The Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would put an end to these types of practices. When a child is born alive during a botched abortion, this bill would require doctors to provide live-saving care. Instead of severing a child’s spinal cord with scissors, doctors would have to do everything in their power to keep the child alive.
Even liberals who don’t believe that unborn children are living human beings agree that it should be illegal to kill any child who is born alive.
This is beyond common sense. However, when the bill came up for a vote last year, Democrats filibustered and killed it. How shameful…
The second piece of legislation we are demanding passage for is the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This legislation would outlaw any abortion performed after the point in development when an unborn child starts to feel pain.
Right now, there are a number of laws on the books that prohibit doctors and surgeons from performing procedures without making their best effort to block pain. Except for extremely rare circumstances, major surgeries without anesthetics are considered unethical.
Let me present a hypothetical to you. Imagine that an unborn child has a birth defect. If surgeons decide to operate on the child in-utero, they are required, by law and by ethics rules, to administer anesthesia to the child. Otherwise, the surgery would be unethical.
But if that same surgeon was performing an abortion instead, the law allows him or her to literally rip the child apart in the womb, limb from limb.
This legislation simply says that when an unborn child develops pain receptors and can feel painful stimuli, abortions can no longer be performed.
These are two common-sense bills that have bipartisan support. But both were filibustered last year by Harry Reid and Congressional Democrats. Instead of pushing them through, Republicans just gave in and surrendered.
President George W Bush had three years with a Republican-controlled Congress. Other than that, you have to go all the way back to President Dwight D Eisenhower to find a time when Republicans controlled the White House and Congress.
We have a unique opportunity to sign into law many of the bills that we have fought so hard for.
Our moment has come and I pray that we do not let this opportunity pass us by.
It will be interesting to see how the media paints the March for Life today and how they try to lowball attendance estimates.
But you don’t need to travel to Washington DC to make sure your voice is heard on this issue. You can make sure that Congress hears your demands right here and right now!
