The movement to impeach President Obama is finally taking hold in Congress!
Support for impeachment came to a boil when Barack Obama promised in his recent State of the Union address to side-step Congress whenever possible to enact his Progressive policies. Over the past five years, Obama has repeatedly turned to executive orders to accomplish his “vision” for America. Many of these executive orders are finally in the courts as the Judicial Branch begins to take a look at whether Obama’s unilateral actions are constitutional or not.
Yet the courts are not ruling fast enough! Obama is moving full steam ahead to enact even more unconstitutional executive orders that threaten to ruin this great country!
Well, a few brave GOP Congressmen have had enough and have begun brainstorming articles of impeachment against Barack Hussein Obama for high crimes and misdemeanors committed against the American people!
Representative Steve Stockman (R-TX) was the only Congressman to bravely walk out of the State of the Union and refuse to give the President an audience for his propaganda and lies.
Well, after hearing of Obama’s plan to violate the Constitution to push through his agenda, Rep. Stockman has announced that he is seriously considering introducing articles of impeachment.
Stockman says that President Obama “has openly vowed to break his oath of office and begin enacting his own brand of law through executive decree" which constitutes "a wholesale violation of Obama's oath of office and a disqualifying offense."
Don’t think that Rep. Stockman is alone… He isn’t! In addition, impeachment has also been discussed by Representatives Steve King (R-IA), Blake Farenthold (R-TX), Bill Flores (R-TX), Duncan Hunter (R-CA), Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI), Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Trey Radel (R-FL) and Ted Yoho, (R-FL), in addition to Senators Tom Coburn (R-OK), Ted Cruz (R-TX), James Inhofe (R-OK) and Tim Scott (R-SC).
That brings the total to more than 15 Representatives and Senators who have discussed impeaching Barack Obama!
This is a HUGE step! For the first time, numerous Congressmen have come out and vocalized their support for impeaching the President for high crimes committed against the American people!
Article II, Section 4 of the United States’ Constitution holds that the President “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
In all honesty, what other evidence does Congress need?
The President has lied to the American people time-after-time, making promises he had no intention of keeping in order to win elections!
Obama has used the full weight of his administration to target Americans who disagree with him politically, using his spy agencies to monitor Americans and the IRS to stop them from organizing!
He has waged an all-out war on your God-given, Constitutionally-protected rights with complete impunity!
Obama has grown government to RECORD size, increasing dependence on government more than ever and adding over $7 trillion to the national debt to pay for his socialist entitlement programs!
He has abused his authority to push his agenda on the American people without Congressional approval!
And the President illegally changes laws, tries to create laws, and ignores laws whenever he wants!
Barack Obama’s crimes are plenty and enough evidence has been amassed to finally hold the President accountable for his actions. Now, a handful of Congressmen and Senators have actually begun to discuss impeaching the President. It is up to us to urge the rest of Congress to be brave for the American people and finally IMPEACH Barack Obama!
James Madison wrote that the Constitution’s impeachment provision was absolutely indispensable since it provides the American people with a means of defending against the “incapacity, negligence, and perfidy” of an out-of-control President.
Thus, the Constitution gives the House of Representatives the powers of Impeachment. It is the lower house’s responsibility to bring these formal charges against a President, Vice President, or cabinet member. Then, the Senate must hold hearings and in order for the President to be found guilty, 67 Senators must vote to convict.
Many believe that if an impeachment vote was hypothetically put before the House, it would be approved.
Well, how about we stop talking about hypotheticals? The time has come to force Congress to put articles of impeachment against President Obama up for a vote!
But this will never happen without YOUR support! Unless you use your voice to lobby Congress, impeachment proceeding will remain unattainable.
When Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives in December of 1998, he had a 63% approval rating. To put that in perspective, Barack Obama’s approval rating is now sitting at just 42%, more than 20 points LOWER than Clinton’s was before his impeachment!
I am sick and tired of people just giving up and assuming that it would be impossible to impeach Barack Hussein Obama.
The man has committed treason by violating the constitution and ruling by executive fiat. He has grown government to never-before-seen levels, leading to historic civil rights violations across the country and a sky-high federal debt. He lied to the American people and perjured himself, promising they could keep their health insurance even though he knew that was a lie.
It’s time to stop thinking of impeachment as plausible and realize that not only is it possible, but success is likely!
Years from now, your descendants will look back on this period in history and wonder what their family members did to stop Barack Obama’s systematic destruction of the country.
I can’t speak for you, but I know I will do everything in my power to impeach Barack Obama. I will not stop until he is removed from office because, quite frankly, the stakes couldn’t possibly be higher.
History is being written NOW! The battle for the future of this country is being fought NOW! The war is at your doorstep and the time has come to stand up in defense of the Constitution!
