This is a great time for Obamacare repeal. The momentum is on our side.

On May 16th, the House of Representatives voted 229-195 to REPEAL Obama’s “Affordable” Care Act, known as Obamacare. Every single Republican Member voted yes for repeal, and every single Democrat voted no—except for two, Reps. Mike McIntyre of North Carolina and Jim Matheson of Utah.

Keep the pressure on the Senate to do the same … and tell them to support Rep. Tom Price’s (R-GA) and Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-TX) “Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act,” introduced in both chambers.

Not only have the blaring headlines about premium increases and reduced access to care started to take root in the minds of Americans normally not interested in such things, now we have the corrupt and abusive Internal Revenue Service smack dab in the middle of the Obamacare rollout. And, we must stop that.

Remember, the IRS is the agency tasked with enforcing Obamacare—making sure every man, woman and child in America has health insurance that they deem acceptable. Hundreds of new workers have been hired to act as Obama’s personal Gestapo.

Usually, when we use words like “Gestapo” and “witch hunt” and other radical terms relating to Hitler or communism, the Left gets all out of breath and claims conservatives are being dramatic. They claim there is no truth in what we are saying. I think all of us can agree that over the past week, the terms we have used to describe the Left and its dirty political tactics are not quite strong enough.

Because now, in the midst of Obama’s Watergate, we learn that a woman named Sarah Hall Ingram was commissioner of the IRS office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. She is now, SURPRISE! - Director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office.

So if she didn’t come gunning hard enough for conservatives on taxes, she can now do it with healthcare.

Rep. Price’s H.R. 2009 will prevent the IRS from “implementing or enforcing any provisions of the president’s health care law.” Price’s statement reads in part:

“Less than a week ago the American people learned…that the IRS had inappropriately abused its authority to target and intimidate certain individuals and organizations trying to practice their right to free speech. This comes at the same time that the Obama Administration is rolling out the implementation of its health care law that invests enormous powers in the IRS. The same agency that just committed an appalling violation of the American people’s trust is going to be at the forefront of enforcing the health care law.

When it comes to an individual’s personal health care decisions, no American should be required to answer to the IRS – an agency that just forfeited its claim to a reputation of impartiality. We can’t trust them to regulate tax exemptions without prejudice, so how can we entrust them to do the same with health care?”

Obamacare’s flaws have been apparent now for quite some time, even giving some Democrats pause (which, of course, they should have had read it PRIOR to passing the thing).

Top Obamacare cheerleaders Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.V.) and Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius now describe the Affordable Healthcare Act as “complex,” “complicated,” “confusing” and “beyond comprehension.” And, as usual, they want to blame it on Republicans. If Republicans would stop disliking it, it would magically turn into a great thing for America. Raise your hand if you think that’s hogwash!

Obamacare is terrible for America. We are going to keep up pressure to defund and repeal, and we want to make sure the Obama-leaning IRS stays out of it. Members of Congress must be put on notice: Obamacare is terrible for America, we are committed to fighting it, and we will hold them accountable for their actions relating to it.
