Around the world, everywhere you look, the US appears on the verge of entering hot conflict. It’s beckoning our legislators, and their donors, calling from every corner under the dome. Today and over the weekend, the Daily Dose of Sanity that we send to our legislators is going to focus on these conflicts individually, so we can be sure that there is no misunderstanding.

These interactions with Saudi Arabia must be immediately investigated.

Just a few days ago, KJP was touting the Yemeni truce as a glowing example of US foreign policy success. This truce has failed, despite efforts by the UN and US to encourage Houthi rebels to extend.

The answer from the Press Secretary came in response to questions about US-Saudi relations. The regime and the kingdom have been trading rhetorical barbs in recent weeks, with the US angered by OPEC+ decision to reduce oil production, and the kingdom mocking US foreign policy.

Now Saudi Arabia has released a lengthy statement saying Biden asked the Kingdom to delay the production cut by one month, until after the November midterms. The White House rhetoric this week has clearly stated that Biden will make sure the Saudi’s experience consequences, though they’ve refused to expand up on those remarks.

Of the conflict as of Friday, Biden will only say, “Stay Tuned.”

Q: “What is your message to Saudi Arabia about [gas prices]?

SCROTUS: “We’re — ‘We’re about to talk to you.’”

Q: “You’re about to talk to — ?”

SCROTUS: “We’re about to talk to them.”

Q: “In what way, sir?”

Q: “What are you going to say to them?”

SCROTUS: “Stay tuned.”

Is Biden threatening the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with “consequences” for impacting Democrats’ political chances in the midterms? If this reporting is true, then the one month delay can only be a political ask. Certainly one month won’t benefit Americans in any material way.

The only beneficiaries of a one-month delay are Democrats’ potential election outcomes.

These interactions with Saudi Arabia must be immediately investigated.

Here is today’s letter to congress.

ATTENTION CONGRESS:

You seem ready to disenfranchise Saudi Arabia as an ally because of their oil production. But you destroyed America’s energy independence on Democrats’ first day of power, via Executive Order.

According to Rasmussen, “88% of Likely U.S. voters are concerned about the economy, including 60% who are Very Concerned.” You seem to be intent on engaging in conflicts and diplomatic disputes that can make this pain worse for us. STOP!

Now reporting suggests that Biden knew this was coming but begged the Saudi’s to delay by one month to help Democrat political chances. They didn’t, and now Biden is threatening “consequences.”

Americans don’t want you engaging us in foreign conflicts, and Americans don’t want to be dependent on foreign oil. But threatening to use the weight and power of the United States of America because the world’s leading oil power didn’t help your political party is treasonous.

“My ardent desire is, and my aim has been, to comply strictly with all our engagements, foreign and domestic, but to keep the United States free from political connections with every other country; to see that they may be independent of all and under the influence of none.” – George Washington

We have no delusions that the coming lame duck Congress will investigate these actions. But your time is short. And the American people will get the truth.

DEMAND FOR REMEDY: Biden must be impeached for his complete and total failure to represent the interest of America. These interactions with Saudi Arabia must be immediately investigated.

YOU REPRESENT US.

That means what YOU want is irrelevant.

Remember your oath.

These interactions with Saudi Arabia must be immediately investigated.
