Following last week’s explosive polling from the New York Times and Siena College, the latest polling reflects what we are all feeling: Change must come because this is NOT working.
Less than a third of voters (27%) believe the country is heading in the right direction, while roughly 66% believe the nation is headed down the wrong track. - Rasmussen Reports
The economy is obviously the electorate’s most important issue this year (81%), with second place seeing similar shares of Democrat-favoring (gun violence, abortion) and Republican-favoring (gun rights, borders) issues. - Morning Consult
70% of all registered voters express high interest in the upcoming election — either a “9” or “10″ on a 10-point scale — which is the highest percentage ever in the survey for a midterm election at this same point in time. - NBC News
Keep that in mind as you consider Nancy Pelosi’s words on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show” yesterday. When asked about Kevin McCarthy obstructing their “blank check,” Pelosi responded, “Was I unclear? We are going to win this election.”
That seems confident for someone so unpopular – less than 13% of voters view Nancy Pelosi as very favorable according to Statista. Those 13% need their heads examined.
Pelosi took a shot of vodka before continuing, “But again, democracy on a ballot, we want it to be strong. The planet on the ballot, we want it to be safe. Our values on the ballot, we want them to be respected, and we intend to win. Take it to the bank.” Okay, we added the vodka bit. But her words are verbatim.
From where does Pelosi summon her unfathomable confidence?
Perhaps, and we are just guessing here at Daily Dose of Sanity, but perhaps this confidence come from knowing the outcome?
On Sunday evening, 60 Minutes trotted out John Poulos, CEO of Dominion, to reaffirm to the world (or at least the few thousand watching 60 Mins) that electronic voting equipment deserves public trust. This is the same John Poulos that testified before Michigan legislators that the machines couldn’t connect to the internet.
Quick Side Note: Colorado SecState now issues guidance to County Clerks on how to periodically check that the machines haven’t accidentally reconnected themselves to the internet. The first time this guidance was issued was in November 2021. Prior to that, no one checked because the party line was “they can’t connect to the internet.”
Pelosi is confident for the same reason Biden campaigned from his basement: It’s already been decided.
CRITICALLY IMPORTANT! This midterm, your vote is more important than ever. We don’t care who you vote for, but that you show up and cast your ballot in person on election day. Election day turnout frustrates the algorithms and causes election thieves to adapt in real time – increasing the likelihood of their apprehension. Determine which candidates reflect your values, and show up to vote in person on election day.
Here is today’s letter to Congress.
All polling indicates that the American people are ready for change.

In 2020, we had no idea what systems you had in place. After two years are studying the methods of our election systems, in 2022 we know now. We are monitoring the data as it comes in and watching to see if you’ll do it again.
In no universe do the American People vote to retain the status quo. Not when 81% view the economy as the top problem and 68% see government corruption as the greatest threat to America.
DEMAND FOR REMEDY: We demand machine free elections. We demand the removal of electronic voting equipment. We demand free and fair elections.
And we are watching.
