After True the Vote’s “Pit” event this summer, investigative journalists and independent experts have been digging into revelations, conduction analyses, and publishing findings. Kanekoa the Great is one such journalist, and he delivered explosive reporting this week:
“Eugene Yu, the CEO of the U.S. election software company Konnech, was arrested yesterday in connection to the storage of election data on Chinese servers. He was arrested in Michigan by investigators from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office with assistance from the Meridian Township Police Department. Investigators allegedly found U.S. poll workers’ information stored on servers in the People’s Republic of China.”
This story is about the investigation as much as the cover up, and the New York Times is running point on narrative development.

Stuart A. Thompson, who allegedly covers but definitely engages in misinformation and disinformation for the Times, published “How a Tiny Elections Company Became a Conspiracy Theory Target.”
Kanekoa writes:
“Thompson, who covers ‘misinformation and disinformation,’ wrote about how ‘far-right election deniers’ concocted an elaborate ‘conspiracy theory’ that Konnech ‘had secret ties to the Chinese Communist Party and had given the Chinese government backdoor access to personal data.’ Near the end of the article, he dedicated a few sentences to Eugene Yu’s Chinese company, ‘Jinhua Yulian Network Technology, a subsidiary out of China, where programmers developed and tested software.’”
Thompson concluded, “Konnech closed the subsidiary in 2021 and no longer has employees in China.”
The next day, Thompson unironically published an article about Yu’s arrest. Back to Kanekoa:
“Contrary to the New York Times reporter’s lack of curiosity, “I found it extremely concerning that Eugene Yu, also known as Jianwei Yu (于建伟), established a Chinese R&D subsidiary in Zhejiang, China, on November 29, 2005. So I spent the last six weeks meticulously documenting everything that I could find about Jinhua Yulian Network Technology (金华宇联网络科技有限公司) in a series of articles.”
In this series, Kanekoa documents the company and its CEO’s connections, patents, and ties to the Chinese Communist Party. And remember, the CEO in question has been arrested.
But it gets worse.
One of the articles in Kanekoa’s series, outlines how the TTV was working with the FBI on this investigation for 15 months, up until April 2022 when:
“Engelbrecht received a call from one of the FBI agents, who informed her that the FBI’s ‘Washington D.C. headquarters’ was now involved in the investigation.
Engelbrecht described how everything changed after this call, ‘There was no more goodwill, there was no more let's work together, the script had been flipped, and now we were the target,’ she said. ‘That was a very disturbing call.’ The agent informed Engelbrecht that ‘two women’ at the FBI’s headquarters believed that Phillips and Engelbrecht were ‘in the wrong for doing this’ and that the D.C. office was now trying ‘to figure out how you guys broke the law to find all of this.’”
A legitimate election fraud investigation was being conducted by the FBI until Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice got involved. Then the investigators became the investigated.
Because the biggest crime in American history also has the biggest cover up.

Here is today’s letter to congress.
ATTENTION CONGRESS:
If you understand anything from the arrest of Konnech CEO Eugene Yu, understand this:
It’s only just begun.
The CEO of a US elections company has been arrested for, allegedly, acting as an agent of the CCP. The arrest of Yu for transmitting election data – including personally identifiable data – to the Chinese Communist Party confirms foreign access to and interference in US elections beyond Facebook posts and “Russian bots.”
Konnech is used in jurisdictions around the nation, and its presence in US elections infrastructure must be investigated to understand the full extent of this breach of trust.
But that’s not the worst of it. True the Vote was working with the FBI on this investigation for 15 months, up until April 2022 when the FBI’s “Washington D.C. headquarters” became involved. Allegedly, the agent informed Engelbrecht that ‘two women’ at the FBI’s headquarters believed that Phillips and Engelbrecht were ‘in the wrong for doing this’ and that the D.C. office was now trying “to figure out how you guys broke the law to find all of this.”
Just to be crystal clear because your activities and rhetoric on US elections suggest you need this spelled out:
A legitimate election fraud investigation was being conducted by the FBI until Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice got involved. Then the investigators became the investigated.
Because the biggest crime in American history also has the biggest cover up.
DEMAND FOR REMEDY: At this point, with the arrest of a US elections company CEO, despite an active and documented cover up by the FBI, any elected official that doesn’t 1) condemn the actions of the Biden DOJ and Washington FBI Headquarters, 2) transparently investigate those actions, and 3) abolish the use of electronic voting equipment until such a time as the extent of access by China and whoever else can be determined by independent cyber forensics.
The government cannot investigate itself on this. You’ve lied about all of it for way too long. If you join the Biden DOJ in obstructing the People’s efforts to find the truth, your position will be clear.
Remember your oath.
