The 2012 elections may be over, but our government is not. The future of our country is not over, nor will it ever be, unless We the People stop being involved.
Now that the dust of the campaign has settled, the cleanup of America must begin.
The presidential election results matter, but remember Congress. They have fallen down. They are not doing their jobs; instead they are playing politics and spending our money with absolutely no restraint. It is no wonder their approval rating is so dismally low. We have to keep them accountable, and we have to hold them to our Constitution. Every single day and every single election, we need to remind them they are in office because we put them there; and, if they will not act as leaders, we will vote in people who will. This will be a group effort. As a country, we need to talk to our family, our neighbors, our friends, and our community.

Now that the election is over, there are hundreds of regulations waiting for approval. The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) have 151 major regulations awaiting review. The policies Barack Obama began four years ago are in full swing and he is assaulting our country daily with more of his dangerous ideology.
Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) has asked Obama to comply with the law and publish his administration’s regulatory agenda. Of course, Obama did not respond, as he has with so many other requests for information to his office. Before the election, he was desperately trying control his real agenda. Inhofe wrote on the website of his Environment and Public Works Committee:
“President Obama is refusing to comply with the law that requires him to publish forthcoming regulations because he doesn’t want the American public to know the terrible cost of the regulatory barrage he plans to unleash in a second term…he’s been trying to hide the fact that he intends to move forward with a slew of rules that will destroy hundreds of thousands of jobs and dramatically raise the cost of energy on American families…
The bottom line is that President Obama knows he can’t win reelection if Americans know the truth. It’s bad enough that he’s hiding his second term agenda — it’s even worse that he’s breaking the law to do it.”
Obamacare is going to add many new taxes to the American people and destroy our healthcare system; that is why it must be repealed. Illegal aliens are going to be granted citizen rights and further strain our economy and infrastructure, unless we reverse the policies of the Obama administration.
He is pushing an intrusive Internet agenda that will destroy your privacy, begin taxes on online activity and destroy the free Internet.
Under his watch and encouragement the United Nations is actively pursuing various regulations on the American people that will intrude upon our sovereignty and weaken our standing in the world. Our Second Amendment, especially, is under attack.
Fourteen government agencies are trying to find a way to stop Hydraulic Fracturing, or “fracking” on public lands. Energy conservation standards for walk-in coolers and freezers are being developed will hurt small businesses and raise manufacturing costs by $500 million over four years. The EPA’s Ozone Rule will cost close to $1 trillion annually and destroy 7.4 million jobs.
That is why it is so important to keep this fight for American freedom alive. Barack Hussein Obama has launched attacks on some of our most sacred Amendments, specifically the First, Second and Fourth — and that has been just in his first four years. He has tossed aside our Founding documents and replaced those ideals with the failed standards of Marxism and Communism. He has issued Executive Orders from the White House left and right, and is damaging our national security by being weak and noncommittal on foreign policy, leaving our brave soldiers and us more vulnerable than ever.
Please, do not give up the fight now. Our brave forefathers and those who so bravely fought against tyranny and the British did not quit. We must follow their example and continue the fight to keep this country the strongest, most committed, and most free in the world.
