Urgent: This week we can de-fund Obamacare!
House Republicans are about to bring a Continuing Resolution (CR) to the floor that will fund the federal government for the rest of the fiscal year. This is our opportunity to choke the life out of the bloated socialist program known as Obamacare that is going to ruin the American healthcare system and put us forever in debt. Contact Congress right now and tell them we oppose Obamacare funding. Raise your voices in unison…don’t let Obamacare live another day!
Some Republicans are backing down on their campaign promises and starting to cave to the Democrats on Obamacare. They are acting as though it is a “done” deal…but it is not. Congress has the opportunity, right now, to stop funds to Obamacare. It cannot take root if there is no money to fund its myriad regulations. We must put pressure on our representatives and demand they find the guts to undo this monstrosity. Next year, all provisions will take effect. Already in 2013 we’ve seen the horrors of what is to come…higher taxes, lower paychecks, a shortage of doctors, higher premiums and limited coverage.
There is no going back if Congress gives Obamacare the oxygen it needs to survive. Think of all the entitlements we are fighting that took hold decades ago; now is our chance to stop the federal government from taking over healthcare.

Reps. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) and Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) have sent a letter to their Republican colleagues asking them to defund Obamacare through the CR:
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act remains broadly unpopular across America. More and more Americans are now feeling its impact--from job losses and part-time downgrades, to insurance policy changes and violations of religious liberties, to state budget strains from Medicaid expansions. Most Americans still believe patients and doctors should control that healthcare, not by the government.
Therefore, we should re-start efforts to repeal Obamacare in its entirety this year, next year, and until we are successful. However, in the meantime, there is more we can do in Congress.
Since much of the implementation of Obamacare is a function of the discretionary appropriations process...we urge you to affirmatively de-fund the implementation of Obamacare in any relevant appropriations bill brought to the House floor in the 113th Congress, including any continuing appropriations bill. Please commit to not bring to the House floor any legislation that provides or allows funds to implement Obamacare through the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of the Treasury, or any other federal entity.
We look forward to working with you to restore patient-centered healthcare in America.
They are doing the right thing. Their colleagues must follow their lead.
Weak-minded Republicans in Congress thought perhaps the Supreme Court would strike down Obamacare, or Obama would lose in November. Neither of those things happened, so they are going to have to find the backbone to kill Obamacare by cutting off its funding. Congress is in complete control right now of whether or not Obamacare is ever fully implemented. Do not allow them to fall asleep on the job! Fax them now and tell them to defund Obamacare!
