Only 16 Republicans voted against the rule on the Continuing Resolution (CR), which means that ONLY SIXTEEN REPUBLICANS voted to de-fund Obamacare. Conservatives in the House of Representatives have failed us miserably.
The sixteen that stood up need our full support, and the other Members of the House and Senate need to be notified at once that we the people are watching their votes and we will hold them accountable for allowing this terrible legislation to stand.
Last year, 105 Members of the House signed a letter asking Speaker Boehner not to bring any appropriations bill before the floor that contains funding for Obamacare. Yet, only 16 Members were brave enough to actually vote against such a bill when he did. These 16 deserve to be recognized:

Obamacare is a disaster that Redstate says will “engender a takeover of 1/6 of our economy, create permanent dependency, induce unsustainable inflationary pressure on the cost of healthcare and health insurance, and saddle the next generation with crippling debt.”
You would be hard pressed to find a Republican in Congress who disagrees with that statement, yet when it came time to pull the plug on it, they refused.
Senator Ted Cruz (TX) has said he will take the CR fight to the Senate, arguing that economic growth cannot occur if Obamacare is allowed to survive. He writes, “It is already hurting small businesses, reducing the hours Americans are allowed to work, forcing employers to drop coverage, and leading to substantial increases in healthcare premiums—especially for young people. In my view, Obamacare should be fully repealed, and I have introduced legislation to do so. At a minimum, however, it should not be implemented at time when our economy is struggling so mightily, at a time when its implementation could push us into a full recession…I intend to object to consideration of any Continuing Resolution that does not include a vote to delay funding of Obamacare.”
The future of this country is non-negotiable. It is time to shine the spotlight on the true leaders of Congress and put the rest of them on notice.
