Consumer Reports tells Americans to, “Stay Away” from Obamacare. Sean Hannity calls the hotline (miraculously, he didn’t get a busy signal) and speaks to an operator that tells him she hasn’t really spoken to anyone who likes it.
The National Journal warns, “It’s worse than we know.”
And just because you registered on the website, doesn’t mean you are enrolled and covered.
You will still have to go through a long process of enrollment. And more importantly, you’ll need to have written that check to Uncle Sam.
RedState says, “Much of Obamacare’s complexity, both as a law and as a glitchtastic computer system, is created by presenting the illusion of consumer choice, to fool people into thinking they are still “shopping” at something approximating a “market.” The Soviet Union used to do the same thing with its “grocery stores,” and the results were not dissimilar.”
Yes, this is the (failing) registration phase. Big Brother is churning, inadequately, but still, churning. The malfunctioning website was only supposed to collect personal data and tell “shoppers” what the subsidies will be – without revealing the COST! Yes, over $400 Million spent to only tell you what subsidies you qualify for without being able to see the cost.
The enrollment process collects highly sensitive, personal information about you and then will run it through the government qualification system. The Obamacare website must “access” data for each applicant across various agencies including the Internal Revenue Service, Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, HHS, the Defense Department, and even the Peace Corps. Healthcare.gov must also interact with states to check Medicaid eligibility and then the data “package” is sent to the insurers.
THIS IS BAD MEDICINE.
Problems mount. DELAY IS THE ONLY WAY…even White House spokesman Jay Carney concedes it will be wrong to fine people for not having insurance if they are unable to get it because of government incompetence. We can’t stop the push now!
The Washington Post reports, “Days before the launch of President Obama’s online health insurance marketplace, government officials and contractors tested a key part of the Web site to see whether it could handle tens of thousands of consumers at the same time. It crashed after a simulation in which just a few hundred people tried to log on simultaneously. Despite the failed test, federal health officials plowed ahead.”
The AP reports that the website work was “rushed” and not tested. Developers raised concerns along the way.
The government ignored them.
Freedom is hanging by a thread. This adminsitration is destroying our healthcare system. Obama and his healthcare cheerleaders LIED TO OUR FACES about everything!

Premiums won’t go up…most people will see a reduction of $2,500

And speaking of lies, Obama stood in the Rose Garden and delivered an embarrassing infomercial for his disastrous law. "[T]he point is the call centers are available. You can talk to somebody directly and they can walk you through the application process."
Really? Then how come the lines are busy and if you are able to get through, most people said they were referred back to the website!
And, you STILL won’t be enrolled.
Let the Democrats answer for this horrible legislation that is going to bury the United States of America in death, taxes and socialism! Let the Democrats answer for it, and let every single Republican Member of Congress who refused to fight it answer for it.
Don’t worry—we will not forget. We have a plan to clean house.

As the bad news continues between now and next year’s elections, and you know it will continue — we need to continually remind Congress that we are angry about Obamacare and we will not accept this socialist intrusion into our lives...especially when we know THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT IT, but instead are forcing it on us!

Make Congress hold up their end of the bargain and take the same healthcare that was forced upon us! Tell them to STOP TAKING-OVER OUR PRIVATE MARKETS AND TO STOP CONFISCATING OUR HARD-EARNED DOLLARS FOR THIS SCHEME.

Businesses are changing the definition of “full-time” and dumping employees so they don’t have to pay Obamacare costs…yet Obama gives a speech saying there is “no evidence” Obamacare is hurting the economy.
Insurance premiums are rising in some cases as much as 290%...
Taxes are skyrocketing…
Insurers are dropping coverage…
Hospitals are closing…
And yes, there are death panels. But, the Left is extremely excited about that. In fact, left-leaning publication Slate hails death panels, holding Canada up as an example. They hail the “administrative tribunals” that can overrule a family’s decision on what to do with a dying relative. Their single-payer system believes there are “fates worse than death.”
Get ready, America!
In a recent 2013 healthcare survey by Coupa Software, 200 top Healthcare professionals in America were queried about what would happen if Obamacare were implemented, and a shocking 19 percent said, “Americans will die earlier.” In this same survey, 56 percent oppose Obamacare with more than nine in 10 believing that there could be major negative impacts such as a drop in quality of the care.
Healthcare professionals are worried. I’m worried and I bet you are too.
The providers in the survey were asked to list the “negative impacts,” of which they could pick several, Coupa found:
-- 53 percent, “Quality of health insurance policies will suffer.”
-- 51 percent, “Quality of care will go down.”
-- 49 percent, “The law is overly complicated.”
Obamacare is a complete disaster. The same people who cannot run a website project are going to be reponsible for YOUR LIFE AND DEATH MEDICAL NEEDS?
Does anyone believe healthcare is going to get BETTER in America because of this bill?
The developers for the exchanges clearly weren’t listening when President Obama told Americans, multiple times in multiple speeches, not take his word on healthcare and for us to go on the website and check the prices for ourselves.
Instead, part of the glitch was because they created a website that wasn’t at all like a typical online shopping experience. You couldn’t browse for products and prices unless you fully registered! You had to go through full registration and share a number of personal details including income, family size, to see anything.
Why in the world would anyone design “a marketplace” this way? Because they didn’t want people to get sticker shock when they saw the full cost of the insurance policy! I guess they are already changing that now that main-stream media finally reported on it. Everyone around the exchanges knew it wasn’t working – Obama pushed forward for purely political reasons.
It is easy for you and me to see that it failed because bureaucrats working for Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius thought that they could oversee development of the Healthcare.gov website.
Now they call in TECH SURGE?
Why call in the experts now after the failed launch rather than hire an experienced healthcare software company to work with the requirements.
Taxpayers will pay so much more due to the rollout fiasco. If it would have been fixed before going live – well, it wouldn’t have been that expensive - now it might be as much, if not more than, 100 percent more to fix! More of your tax dollars.
The government does not have the experience or the expertise to manage “free market” industries. Nor does the government have any business messing around with supply and demand of goods and services.
As much of a disaster as Obamacare exchanges are right now, they can be fixed. Faulty policy, not so much. Many, many more problems are waiting for us and it continues to roll out.
