Mr. Chairman, on the advice of my counsel, I respectfully decline to answer any questions and invoke my Fifth Amendment privilege to remain silent.”

Who is Gregory Roseman and why is he important?

Roseman “is or was” (doesn’t mean he was fired) a deputy director of acquisitions at the Internal Revenue Service. He’s accused of helping a friend get dozens of contacts through IRS procurement potentially worth HALF A BILLION DOLLARS of the People’s money.

The Inspector General’s report alleged Roseman’s “cozy relationship” with Strong Castle Inc., and with the President Braulio Castillo was much more “friendly” than he told the committee. Castillo had denied that he had any kind of personal relationship with IRS officials, but it didn’t take an investigation long to refute his story:

  • More than 350 messages between the two men included inappropriate homophobic slurs, offensive jokes, and comments about the appearance of other IRS.

  • Months of records for text messages at “contract junctures” were accidentally deleted according to Castillo.

  • It was reported that Castillo even asked his IRS friend for help in “structuring a deal” to set up a new company that would focus on selling technology to the IRS.

Castillo was also questioned by the committee for “earning” Veterans disability payments for a foot injury received, not in combat, but while playing football at a military prep school, aka high school! Castillo went on to play college football at the University of San Diego, and then more than 20 years later, he APPLIED for and RECIEVED Veterans disability payments!

FAX CONGRESS NOW!

In an intense exchange during the hearing, Rep. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., a decorated Iraq war veteran and who lost both her legs in combat, noted that Castillo's application for veterans benefits allowed him to promote Strong Castle as a small business operated by a disabled veteran.

"My feet hurt too," Duckworth said, "In fact, the balls of my feet hurt continuously…” Duckworth asked Castillo how severe his injury was rated by the VA.

After Castillo said his sore ankle was rated at 30 percent, Duckworth pointed to her own arm. "My right arm was essentially blown off and reattached ... and I'm still in danger of losing my arm. I can't feel my arm. My disability rating for that arm is 20 percent," Duckworth said.

"I don't set the ratings," Castillo replied.

While plagued with scandals, the IRS also unjustly targeted Conservatives, Tea Party Americans and intimidated groups applying for tax exemption. Now we see how the IRS treats their FRIENDS as compared to average Americans! The Internal Revenue Service awarded contracts to Strong Castle Inc., an information technology firm in Leesburg, Virginia solely on the relationship between Castillo and Roseman, the panel’s report stated.

We need a special prosecutor to expose and stop it all!

If, we the people, make a simple math error on a tax form, we are guilty until innocent, but the IRS agents stealing the people’s money are considered innocent until proven guilty?

Don’t wait for someone else to speak up…today’s the day we all say NO MORE!

Everyone can see this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the latest government scandals.  How BIG is the iceberg?

An independent prosecutor must be appointed by Congress for the IRS!

The Internal Revenue Service just revealed that over $50 million has been used by employees (many having IRS credit cards!) on employee conferences!

Wealthy and well-connected FRIENDS of the IRS are being awarded lucrative contracts.  Now, the report reveals that IRS employees used credit cards for their own personal items!  Just the tip of an iceberg?

  • $2,655 were spent on diet pills, romance novels, steaks, a smartphone and baby-related items, including bottles, games and clothes…

  • $418 for novelty decorations and swag at managers’ meetings, including kazoos, bathtub toys and “Thomas the Tank Engine” wristbands

  • $3,152 to rent a popcorn machine and buy prizes for an employee event, including bandanas, stuffed animals, sunglasses and stovepipe hats.

  • Purchase of 28 bottles of wine for 41 guests in attendance at an international event.

That’s not all, here’s an ARMAGEDDON SIZED KICKER!

  • Two IRS credit cards were used to buy online pornography!
