SYRIAN CHEMICAL ATTACK BY REBELS; NOT ASSAD!

Dear Conservative Friend,

President Obama’s “Reason to go to war” has now been officially DE-BUNKED!

The United States military has now confirmed that Sarin gas and chemical weapons were used more by the Syrian rebels that Obama continues to arm.  Our U.S. military has acknowledged that the chemical attack was NOT by the Assad forces.

This makes the potential Syrian conflict a total sham.  Yet, Obama continues to “downplay” the new revelations!

It appears that the chemical weapons attack in Syria was a “self-inflicted” chemical attack (ON THEIR OWN PEOPLE) to place the worldwide spotlight on Syrian President Assad and his troops as being the culprits in this horrendous attack.  The President of the United States is using incorrect information to go to war and attack Syria.

This means that President Obama was marching towards a military strike WITHOUT ANY CONSCIENCE!  A year after Benghazi and we still don’t know what happened on American soil?  And yet, this administration is so sure they know the truth on the chemical weapons in Syria?

The bottom line:  The chemical attack was not perpetrated by the Assad forces!  We need to let the entire United States Congress know that they must persuade the president not to rush to war, especially since the chemical attack was not initiated by President Assad!  Please fax today.

We must fax Congress today to make sure they vote against any military strike against Syria!

The U.S. military confirmed that Sarin was confiscated earlier this year from members of the Jabhat al-Nusra Front, the most influential of the rebel Islamists fighting in Syria.

The recently revealed document says Sarin from al-Qaida in Iraq made its way into Turkey and that while some was seized, more could have been used in an attack last March on civilians and Syrian military soldiers in Aleppo.

The document, classified Secret/Noforn – “Not for foreign distribution” – came from the U.S. intelligence community’s National Ground Intelligence Center, or NGIC.  Their Mission: The National Ground Intelligence Center produces and disseminates all-source integrated intelligence on foreign ground forces and related military technologies to ensure that U.S. forces have a decisive edge in current and future military operations.

After the report, Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador, said a preliminary review of the report points toward forces loyal to al-Assad.  "The regime possesses Sarin, and we have no evidence that the opposition possesses Sarin," Power said. "It defies logic" to think members of the opposition would have infiltrated a regime-controlled area to fire on opposition-controlled areas.

The report doesn’t say it was Assad.  Britain, France, and NATO have said al-Assad's regime was behind the attack but Russia, Syria's leading ally, and Russian U.N. Ambassador Vitaly Churkin maintained Moscow's stance that Syrian rebels might be to blame.

Such suggestions "cannot be simply shrugged off," Churkin said, and statements insisting that the opposition could not have launched the attack "are not as scientific and grounded in reality as the actual situation could be." He questioned why rebel forces didn't report major losses in the August 21 chemical attack, which the United States says may have killed more than 1,400, including hundreds of civilians.

World Net Daily reports: “The May 2013 seizure occurred when Turkish security forces discovered a two-kilogram cylinder with sarin gas while searching homes of Syrian militants from the al-Qaida-linked Jabhat al-Nusra Front following their initial detention. The Sarin gas was found in the homes of suspected Syrian Islamic radicals detained in the southern provinces of Adana and Mersia.

“Some 12 suspected members of the al-Nusra Front were arrested. At the time, they were described by Turkish special anti-terror forces as the ‘most aggressive and successful arm’ of the Syrian rebels.”

The NGIC report written by the U.S. intelligence community bolsters an initial United Nations’ investigation of the attack in Aleppo, which shows the evidence pointed to Syrian rebels.

This latest revelation is seen as strengthening Russia’s position that Assad did not use chemical weapons!  Russia turned over to the United Nations a 100-page report that alleges use of chemical weapons by the Syrian rebels.  The detailed information concluded the Syrian rebels – not the Syrian government – had used the nerve agent Sarin in the March chemical weapons attack in Aleppo.

Details of the contents of the report are not yet available.  They will soon be released.  The report says that deadly Sarin poison gas was manufactured in a Sunni-controlled region of Iraq and then transported to Turkey for use by the Syrian opposition, whose ranks have swelled with members of al-Qaida and affiliated groups, including the Syrian rebels.

Now that the U.S. military has acknowledged that the chemical attack was NOT by the Assad forces, you must fax Congress today to make sure they vote against any military strike against Syria!

Recently freed from their al-Nusra captivity, two kidnapped individuals claim the rebels used chemical weapons even in the August 21st civilian attack.  A Belgian researcher and an Italian former journalist, recently freed, say they overheard their captors talking about their involvement in a deadly chemical attack “last month,” which would have been the Aug. 21 chemical weapons attack.

Belgian researcher Pierre Piccinin and Italian researcher Domenico Quirico, were released last week after five months of being kidnapped.

Piccinin asserted: “The government of Bashar al-Assad did not use Sarin gas or other types of gas in the outskirts of Damascus!”  Piccinin said the two had overheard a Skype conversation in English among three people.

Domenico Quirico said: “The conversation was based on real facts.”  He said one of the three people in the conversation claimed he was a Free Syrian Army general.  Quirico alleges that “The militants said the rebels carried out the attack as a provocation to force the West to intervene militarily to oust the Assad regime.”

Ray McGovern, a former analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency, also believes the claim that the Syrian rebels committed the August 21st chemical weapons attack.  He is just one of a number of veteran intelligence experts who signed a letter to President Obama saying that Damascus was not behind the August 21 chemical attack.

Other former U.S. intelligence analysts claim there is a “growing body of evidence” that reveals the incident was a pre-planned provocation by the Syrian opposition.

In their letter to President Obama, the analysts wrote about a meeting before August 21st where opposition military commanders ordered preparations for an “imminent escalation” due to a “war-changing development” that would be followed by the U.S.-led bombing of Syria.  They said the growing body of evidence came mostly from sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition and its supporters.  “Canisters containing chemical agents were brought into a suburb of Damascus, where they were then opened.”

The U.S. military has acknowledged that the chemical attack was NOT by the Assad forces, you must FAX Congress today to make sure they vote against any military strike against Syria!

Last week, President Obama addressed the nation on why he believes American military intervention may be necessary in Syria.  Now the chemical weapon usage facts go against the Obama assertions!  Now, more than ever, we strongly disagree with the President, and we oppose authorizing an attack by the United States against Syria.

Yesterday, the United Nations released an initial report saying that chemical weapons were used in the August 21st attack.  Even if the chemical weapons were used by Assad, we simply cannot support a unilateral strike in the Middle East with no clear military objective or vital national security interest at stake.  It is deplorable that more than 100,000 Syrians have been killed in a two-year-old civil war, but it does not warrant American intervention that could incite further chaos in a part of the world that is already a “tinderbox” on the brink.

Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that “once we take action, we should be prepared for what comes next. Deeper involvement is hard to avoid.”  The last thing this country needs is to get mired down in another country’s civil war where the lines are blurred between friend and foe. Let us not forget that the Syrian opposition contains factions of insurgents with known ties to al-Qaeda and are sworn enemies of the United States.

The Russian proposal to address Syria through diplomatic negotiations should be thoroughly explored. Whether or not this becomes a reality, the door has now been opened for the international community to express support for a diplomatic solution. By so doing, our country can avoid an ill-advised military strike.

Now that there is proof that the rebels used chemical weapons, a military strike would be unconscionable!!

Daily Sanity was one of the very first to report about Mother Superior Agnes Mariam el-Salib, Mother Superior of St. James Monastery in Qara, Syria, says she was submitting her findings to the United Nations!  Her claim:  Footage of chemical attack in Syria is a fraud!

Mother Superior Agnes claims: “I have carefully studied the footage.  I maintain that the whole affair (of chemical weapons by the Assad regime) was a frame-up.  It had been staged and prepared in advance with the goal of framing the Syrian government as the perpetrator.”

Too many Americans remain unemployed at a time when our debt and deficits continue to skyrocket. We have plenty of needs here at home that demand our attention. Attacking a Middle East country that poses no threat to the United States is not one of them!

Please tell Congress, no matter what, to vote against any American military strike against Syria!

Please fax Congress today to make sure they vote against any military strike against Syria!

Sincerely,

Joe Otto
