Dear Concerned Parents and Guardians,

As our kids get ready to head back to school, you need to be aware of a new risk in the classroom:  Common Core.

Kids are going to be dumbed down, anti-American, happy with a mediocre job and liberal—just like the Obama administration wants them to be.

It’s the new socialist America, and your kids are the experiment Obama is putting on the front lines.

Liberals want to claim ownership of our children, and to that end, they need our children to welcome the State as adoptive parents. The Common Core curriculum will teach them they are global citizens and have a right to expect government to provide for them, cradle to grave. Expect your child to come home reading EPA white papers instead of classic literature.

STOP THE INDOCTRINATION OF OUR CHILDREN AND PROTECT OUR FUTURE…Fax Congress and tell them to fight tooth and nail at the federal level and in their districts to END COMMON CORE while there is still time!

Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education says: “Our goal for the coming year will be to work closely with global partners, including UNESCO.”  

What business does the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization have in the American education system? We’ll explain: One of UNESCO’s overarching objectives is “sustainable development,” which you may recall is the central provision of Agenda 21.

Common Core is the educational outreach arm of Agenda 21! Common Core is the change agent they needed to fundamentally change our attitudes and behavior!

As an adult, YOU will be indoctrinated into a climate change agenda through regulations, fees and restrictions on where you can live, how many kids you can have, and what kind of car you can drive. Our children will be indoctrinated from Kindergarten through college, educated to believe that humans are the enemy of the planet, Western civilization is bad, and if we are all one large, global, socialist society, peace will fall unto the land.

“Education for All” is a United Nations program using the same platform as Common Core. Its catchphrases are: Emphasizing equality (the redistribution of wealth) … emphasizing measurability (through surveillance and control) … and emphasizing finance (taking money from the U.S. to promote this agenda).

Common Core spends 8 weeks on the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights (teaching through Scientology videos that everyone has a right to social security, a job, housing and to join a union), and much less time on the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Obama has just nationalized our education system by dangling federal funds in front of economically disabled states, and voila! Socialism is taking over our schools!

In April, MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry argued that,  "[W]e have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to their communities.” This is the same woman who just wore tampon earrings on the air to chastise Texas for limiting abortions. Secretary Duncan opines, “Traditionally, the federal government in the U.S. has had a limited role in education policy.  The Obama administration has sought to fundamentally shift the federal role, so that the Department is doing much more…”  THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE INFLUENCING THIS TYPE OF POLICY.

Dr. James Milgram served on Common Core’s validation board, and he is against the program! He writes, “Parents and teachers should refuse to settle for this Common Core mediocrity, and demand truly world-class standards for the good of our students and our country.”

Obama dangled money over states’ heads with his Race to the Top program…but IT WILL RUN OUT IN 2014. After that, the States are on their own, broke, and left with untrained teachers and dumbed-down students, wards of the state who have been brainwashed to be “global citizens” and accept whatever path the government lays out for them.

Jason Zimba, one of the chief drafters of the math standards, said Common Core is only designed to prepare students for a non-selective community college—NOT A UNIVERSITY!

Is this the future we want for our most precious resource—our children? Parents and teachers are being completely removed from the education process and the government is stepping in to take over. Fax Congress right this minute and tell them to STOP COMMON CORE before it destroys the American educational system!

Your child will take a national test based on this new, national curriculum. But, what are they being tested for? No one knows. How will they be measured? No one knows. What we do know is that Common Core downplays academics and focuses on attitudes, beliefs, diversity and behavior. For example, “All children must have ethical judgment, honesty or integrity.” Does the government now determine whether our children have a moral compass or not…and if they disagree with the current political party in power, does that mean they fail? No one knows what types of tests our children will take, who will develop them, who will review them, or what a passing or failing score would be.

One of the agencies responsible for testing is the American Institute for Research, or AIR. They are the largest behavioral and social science research organization, and are focused on CHANGING BEHAVIOR. They are heavily funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which of course is one of the major contributors to the Common Core program. AIR distributes LGBT propaganda to schools and believes not only in the sexualization of children, but in labeling and counseling those children at a very young age. 

What if your child doesn’t go along with the Common Core curriculum? What if the government doesn’t feel he or she is RESPONDING WELL to instruction? Scientology is responsible for some of the classroom videos. Will your child need to be “audited” or have “special counseling” in order to fall back into line?

THIS IS ALL EXTREMELY SCARY! It sounds crazy and yet research is coming to light to suggest this is the biggest threat to our liberty in the history of our country! THIS IS ABOUT OUR CHILDREN and GRANDCHILDREN.

Kentucky did a Common Core pilot program and saw proficiency rates drop by 30 percent. A Stanford University professor says Common Core will put American students two years behind high-achieving countries in math. For example, Common Core math uses percentages to discuss wealthy areas of the country versus poor and explains why being rich is unfair. Classic literature is de-emphasized, and “information” texts such as government documents and technical manuals are encouraged. Training exercises tell teachers to read the Gettysburg Address without emotion and without historical context.

COMMON CORE ALSO REQUIRES SCHOOLS TO DATA MINE YOUR KIDS.  The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) used to protect the privacy of kids. But last year the regulations were changed. Now, schools are ordered to collect information on students and share that with federal agencies WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION, and in most cases, NO OPT-OUT. It’s mandatory!

A database called inBloom will store your student’s name, address, social security number, blood type, hair color, weight, test scores, nicknames, religion, attitudes, income level, medical history, psychological evaluations, bus stop times and political affiliation.

But, that’s not all. The “curriculum” calls for: “Four parallel streams of affective sensors” will be employed to effectively “measure” each child. The “facial expression camera,” for instance, “is a device that can be used to detect emotion…. Other devices, such as the “posture analysis seat,” “pressure mouse,” and “wireless skin conductance sensor,” which looks like a wide, black bracelet strapped to a child’s wrist, are all designed to collect “physiological response data from a biofeedback apparatus that measures blood volume, pulse, and galvanic skin response to examine student frustration.” This is NOT SCIENCE FICTION, IT’s WHAT IS COMING.

Common Core is not just a public school problem. Private schools will still be forced to submit to the data collection, and parents who homeschool will find it harder and harder to find textbooks without the Common Core curriculum in them. Some Catholic and private schools have already adopted Common Core because they want to be able to prepare their students for the Common Core testing standards needed for college admissions.

Common Core has nothing to do with academics and preparing students for college or a career…it is a massive liberal brainwash that will create a country full of socialists dependent upon the State for everything—and those indoctrinated will be happy to live that way.

Stop child indoctrination! Fax Congress and tell them to END Common Core!
