Dear Conservative,

Perhaps Congress hasn’t heard you… That’s the only reason I can think of for why these so-called “Republicans” are defying the American people and pushing for illegal alien amnesty. That or these clowns don’t yet worry about what the American people think... I suspect it is the latter. How else do you explain the fact that the GOP plans to get amnesty pushed through the House by August? Those aren’t my words… those are the words of some of the top GOP lawmakers! This is absolute lunacy and must be stopped!

Tell Congress that blanket amnesty for illegal aliens is UNACCEPTABLE!

Congress has spent the last two weeks at home, allegedly listening to what the American people want from their elected Representatives. If these career politicians would actually listen, they would hear just how fed up the country is with their governance. They would hear how Americans are struggling to survive under this President, they would see the results of shrinking take-home pay, and most importantly, they would realize just how AGAINST illegal alien amnesty we all are.

John Boehner hasn’t seemed to get that message. While back in Ohio last week, Boehner spoke before a Rotary Club and openly mocked his GOP colleagues for being against his amnesty bill. “We get elected to make choices,” he told his constituents. “We get elected to solve problems and it’s remarkable to me how some of my colleagues just don’t want to…”

How disgusting is that?

No, Mr. Boehner… We conservatives aren’t against your amnesty proposal because we are lazy. We are against your amnesty proposal because we realize it is political suicide!

We need to have a discussion about what to do with the 11+ million people who are being allowed to illegally live in our country. Will we be able to deport all of them? Probably not, and I am not sure if that would even be a wise decision. But if they commit a crime or attempt to defraud the American people, they should be on the first boat back to wherever they came from. There is one thing I am absolutely positive about: American citizenship is something that has to be earned.

Tell Congress that blanket amnesty for illegal aliens is UNACCEPTABLE!

I don’t think that these illegal aliens should become citizens. Why? Because their first act in this country was blatantly and deliberately disobeying the law. I am sure that there are many illegal aliens who are perfectly nice people. However when you get down to the lowest common denominator, these are all people who, when presented with the choice between migrating legally and illegally, chose the latter.

People like John Boehner and Jeb Bush look at illegal immigration as an act of love. In my opinion, it is nothing but an act of selfishness. I could never imagine coming to a country and forcing its citizens to just provide for my every need. There used to be a day when you couldn’t immigrate here unless you had at least some job or skill set. Obviously, there are exceptions to that rule… but it is generally a good idea not to open our doors to more people who want to tax our benefits system. Yet in states like California, illegal aliens are given driver’s licenses and even food stamps!

I am tired of watching so-called “Conservatives” continue to shoot themselves in the foot and threaten to bring down the Republican Party. Not only would it be political suicide to introduce 11 million new Democrat voters to states like Texas, but it would be a slap in the face to everyone who has chosen to come to the United States through legal channels.

There are also so many things that need to be fixed for ACTUAL citizens. Unemployment is still too high, our tax system is still too punitive, and the Affordable Care Act literally threatens the lives of millions of Americans!

So no… under NO circumstance can we allow Congress to vote on amnesty before the election… We can’t allow that vote to happen EVER. But most importantly, the issue shouldn’t even be on the table as long as there are American citizens who are struggling to provide for themselves and their families. We have to come first!

Tell Congress that blanket amnesty for illegal aliens is UNACCEPTABLE!

Sincerely,

Joe Otto
