This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!
Some days, these Congressional rebukes just come to me. There is so much chaos and confusion in the world, and so much to cause outrage among people who believe themselves free, that often the words just flow.
Other days, I am almost paralyzed by indecision of which wrong to bring to our authoritarian governors. This morning was the latter.
They’ve violated all of our inalienable, natural rights. Washington D.C. is an ivory tower where edicts flow and accountability is a myth. Thankfully, the Lord brought me to James this morning and gave me a message for those who rule over us.
“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure! Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. You have lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned and put to death the righteous man; he does not resist you.” James 5:1-6
Those who read my writing regularly know that I use the term communism interchangeably with authoritarianism. Regardless of the high ideals that bring about authoritarian government, history shows us that these efforts devolve into a small group of people enslaving the public for their own ends.
In grade school, back in the 1980s when the purpose of schooling was to educate rather than recruit and groom, we were taught that “communism” means the state controls the means of production.
Academics and those invested in the status quo are quick to dismiss claims of American communism because of our "robust" private sector. “The government doesn’t control production, corporations do!”
Setting aside how private our private sector is, I posit that this argument is little more than semantic. Consider gas prices. At the time the current regime assumed power, gas prices were $1.79. With the stroke of a pen, scrotus Biden doubled what Americans pay at the pump and has since blamed external forces (Putin! Climate Change!) for the direct outcome of his policy action.
The owners and operators of the Keystone Pipeline and other American energy producers have no control over their production. The federal government is the ultimate authority on America’s energy production – and every other industry in the “private sector.”
Washington has become an all consuming beast that prowls among the people — in every area of their lives — seeking only to consume and amass more power.
Sadly, most Americans believe that this cannot be. We send our representatives to the swamp to protect and preserve our rights! “They swear an oath! Communism could never come to America!”
When America’s elected officials put their hands on the Holy Bible, they swear:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."
Back to James, the oath is important. “But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you may not fall under judgment.” James 5:12
They are swearing to do what is just and righteous and honorable. They are swearing to protect and defend our natural rights.
And they have failed. There is no area of American life that the government doesn’t monitor, regulate, control. Communism isn’t coming to America, it’s already here.
Their “Yes” never means Yes. It means print, spend, launder, repeat. Their “No” is never No. It means, “No, but just wait until I get re-elected and then I’ll have more flexibility.”
Those who swore to protect our rights have sold them – and us – out for their own personal gain. They will fall under the judgment of the American people and they will fall under the judgment of Almighty God.
For the People of the Way, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:16
Everything done in secret will be revealed. Remind your legislators of that fact today. And pray – you will accomplish much.
DEMAND FOR REMEDY: Repent and return to the People and stand in the gap for your constituents! No more backroom dealing – everything done in secret will be revealed – let Your Yes be Yes and Your No be No!

Here is today’s letter to Congress:
ATTENTION AUTHORITARIANS:

We the People see how you have elevated yourselves above us. You have fallen into your lusts and set yourselves apart from those who sent you. You have begun to believe your own press, to believe that anything you’re doing has any other outcome than hurting and further enslaving Americans.

Remember your oath, return to delivering upon it, and get on the right side of this – the most dangerous season in American history.
If you cannot, then resign in disgrace for the complete and total failure to achieve the objections for which you were hired.
