Dear Conservative,





 





Obamacare seems to be forcing everyone to buy something they don't want or don't need... The elderly are being forced to pay for pediatric coverage, men are being forced to carry maternity care, and healthy young people are being forced to overpay for insurance.





 





But all of this is just the beginning...





 





The Obama administration is now trying to force Catholic nuns to pay for contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs!





 





That's right, if Congress does not give religious groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor, based out of Colorado, an exemption, Obamacare will force them to violate their religious conscience.





 





This isn't about healthcare... This is about Barack Obama and the Liberal Democrats trying to tell people of faith how to practice their religion!





 







 





The Little Sisters of the Poor is just one religious group that falls outside of Obamacare's religious exemption. The Nuns take care of the elderly and one of their Convents can operate on just $6 million a year. If these Nuns refuse to pay for contraceptive coverage, the Convent could be fined $2.5 million (almost half of their operating budget).





 





Luckily, Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor (surprisingly, a Liberal Obama appointee) has granted the Sisters a delay and temporarily stopped the Administration from forcing birth control on these women of the cloth.





 





Who would have thought that one of the most liberal Justices on the Supreme Court would halt part of Obamacare?





 





The problem is this is only a temporary injunction. Sotomayor's ruling, which came on New Year's Eve, will run out any day now...  And if we have learned anything from this Liberal Supreme Court, it is that they can't be trusted with the Affordable Care Act!





 





Financially, this mandate makes absolutely no sense! Why force these Nuns to pay for birth control coverage that they will literally NEVER need? There isn't really any reason to force a Convent to pay for abortion inducing drugs. That is, unless Barack Obama and the Democrats are deliberately trying to force people to violate their religious beliefs...





 





That is exactly what has happened. All across the country, men and women of faith are being forced to violate their religious consciences in order to avoid crippling Obamacare fines. While religious organizations have applied for exemptions, the Obama Administration and the Courts have repeatedly denied them.





 





Christian organizations like the Little Sisters of the Poor have worked to defend the sanctity of EVERY human life. And now this President wants to force them to pay for abortion-inducing drugs?





 





Not on our watch!





 







 





While we must stand up in defense of these religious organizations, we must also defend the religious consciences of ALL Americans opposed to Obamacare's contraception mandate.





 





We can't rely on the Obama administration to do the right thing. The President only gives Obamacare exemptions to his cronies and political allies. And we can't rely on the Courts, especially not the Supreme Court that upheld this atrocious healthcare law! Only Congress can exempt Americans from Obamacare!





 





Quite frankly, the contraception mandate is just one of many atrocious parts of the Affordable Care Act. But forcing Nuns to pay for contraception and abortion-inducing drugs is the last straw.





 





Americans don't like Obamacare, they don't want Obamacare, and they don't need Obamacare!





 





In defense of religious groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor, and in defense of Americans everywhere who oppose Obamacare and all of its burdens, we must stand as one and force Congress to finally exempt Americans from this train wreck law!





 





Take the time to tell Congress that it is unacceptable to force Nuns, or anyone for that matter, to pay for something they find morally objectionable!
