We were unable to get rid of his boss in November, but rogue Department of Justice head Eric Holder must go. America can have no justice with him in charge as Obama’s wingman. Was Eric Holder hired to protect the law, or Barack Obama?
The radical Eric Holder is in charge of the agency that sets American legal policy. And this, ultimately, may be the “fundamental transformation” Obama was talking about.
Charles Krauthammer has called Holder one of the “most incompetent attorney general in U.S. history.” We agree. He must go.

Former DOJ official J. Christian Adams noted, “The havoc Holder has created goes far beyond corruption on any single issue. The damage he has done crosses all components of the Department of Justice, and has trickled down to infect the systems of law and legal jurisprudence throughout the country. He has tried to transform the federal agency intended to be above politics into an institution advocating radical change…”
Operation Fast and Furious: Holder orchestrated the smuggling of thousands of guns across the border to Mexican drug cartels, hoping to make the point that “guns are bad” and our Second Amendment rights must be curtailed. American deaths resulted. Holder was not held accountable, although he stated, “I have ultimate responsibility for what happens in the department.”
Voter Fraud: New Black Panthers disenfranchising voters in Pennsylvania? No problem. But it is a problem to Mr. Holder when states attempt to protect election integrity. Anytime a state goes for new voter ID laws, his DOJ pounces. And when Florida began working to purge ineligible voters off their rolls, he did the same. But worse, Holder likes to play the race card and has told the NAACP that whites want to take away their voting rights, and compared voter ID efforts to the segregationist poll taxes in the Jim Crow era.
Defending Illegals: Eric Holder has sued, or threatened to sue, any state trying to crack down on illegal immigration and protect their borders. He has refused to enforce the rule of law relating to illegal immigration and has even granted certain illegals amnesty by ordering states to stand down on enforcement.
National Security Risks: When the FBI was conducting an investigation of General Petraeus, Holder decided not to tell Obama, the Commander-in-Chief, about it. Holder himself made the decision that the matter did not involve a threat to national security. This was not a matter for him to decide. And if it was not a matter of national security, why is the CIA conducting its own investigation?
Refusal to Comply: Eric Holder’s Justice Department and the various affiliated agencies under him have repeatedly refused to comply with Congressional investigations and Freedom of Information Act requests. His stonewalling is unacceptable and illegal.
The facts speak for themselves. If any of these transgressions seem worrisome to you, you must fax Congress and insist they get this criminal out of the DOJ. And, there is another point we must make. Substitute the name “John Ashcroft” for “Eric Holder,” and imagine the outrage that would occur.
More than fifty Members of Congress called for Holder to step down after the Fast and Furious scandal, but that effort seems to have faded. What is worse: the crimes Mr. Holder has committed, or the apathy of our representatives who allow it?
