Dear Fellow American,
As a direct result of the tragic shootings in the Washington Naval Yard, President Obama is intending to implement more EXECUTIVE ORDERS and re-affirmed his commitment to fortify gun control laws on law abiding citizens. His push includes the expansion of background checks to online gun sales, as well as sales at gun shows. What it doesn’t include is any action that would have stopped another unstable person that cried out for help, and none came.
President Obama will never let a good CRISIS go to waste. ONE DOZEN people lost their lives. How tragic it is for those dozen families who were adversely affected.
But before the crisis at the Navy Yard was even over, Obama came out to politicize the shooting in a speech in a campaign style speech with reprimands for Republicans.
New evidence is emerging in this shooting and much of it could lead to another scandal in security. We will be keeping up to the latest and reporting it directly to you as verified. The reports are detailing that it was nearly a half an hour after the bloodshed began, the FBI says, that the first officers to enter the building had the shooter in their sights. And the FBI now says that there is no evidence Aaron Alexis fired from the upper floors of the building down into the atrium below. NBC's Pete Williams reports.
This administration and president will use any tragedy, like the Washington Navy Yard shootings, to politicize their Coastal elite GUN-CONTROL take-over. Obama even has a few last-minute drive to literally make up gun law angles added to the true news story!
A shotgun attack in a gun-free zone, within a city that has outdated gun control laws, is not fertile ground for making the case for more interference upon the Second Amendment! This is yet another false premise.
However tragic the Navy Shipyard shootings were - it should not be used as a “political opportunity!”
Jay Carney, White House spokesperson says: “The president supports, as do an overwhelmingly majority of Americans common sense measures to reduce gun violence!”
Carney thinks American will believe everything he says, true or not!
Barely hours after these innocent people were gunned down at the Navy facility, U. S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) issued a statement calling for MORE GUN CONTROL via Congress: “This is one more event to add to the litany of massacres that occur when a deranged person or grievance killer is able to obtain multiple weapons – including a military-style assault rifle – and kill many people in a short amount of time.
Incidentally, Senator Feinstein owns her own guns!
Congress must not shirk its responsibility. This country needs to take up a thoughtful debate but controlling law abiding citizens isn’t an answer.
The recent recalls in Colorado show that Americans will stand up for their gun rights and will be supportive of the Second Amendment. And Colorado proved we can throw politicians out who wish to infringe on that right.
As the Washington Times originally reported: “Among President Clinton’s first acts upon taking office in 1993 was to disarm U.S. soldiers on military base. In March, 1993, the Army imposed regulations forbidding military personnel from carrying their firearms and making it almost impossible for commanders to issue firearms to soldiers in the United States for personal protection. For the most part, only military police regularly carry firearms on base, and their presence is stretched thin by high demand for Military Police in war zones.”
Before the total facts were known, President Barack Obama talked about the Naval Yard atrocities, Obama had hoped to use the deaths to PUSH for more unconstitutional gun control situations. “We’re confronting – yet another – mass shooting. And today it happened on a military installation in our nation’s capital.”
John Hayward, the senior writer for Daily Events, says: “The horrible attack on the Washington Navy Yard by a disturbed veteran, which left the shooter plus a dozen victims dead at the time of this writing, was quickly and predictably seized by gun-control extremists as a political opportunity. The first efforts to politicize the incident were made while the base was still on lockdown, and the media was still pumping out misinformation, in its now-familiar digital-age frenzy!
Hayward also reports: “No doubt we'll spend the next few days arguing about gun-control laws - as if more laws in a city with famously strict gun control would have prevented a massacre at a gun-free military base. There won't be much effort to connect the Left's arguments to what actually happened at the Navy Yard, though. I t will be more of the hysterical argument that we've heard so many times before: something awful happened, so Americans can no longer resist a handful of entirely unrelated restrictions on their liberty.”
The media reported that an AR-15 was used. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY WRONG.
CNN reports: “A U.S. law enforcement official said Monday that gunman Aaron Alexis unleashed a barrage of bullets using an AR-15, a rifle and a semi-automatic handgun. Authorities believed the AR-15 was used for most of the shooting, the official said. The news prompted Sen. Dianne Feinstein, one of the strongest proponents of a ban on assault weapons like the AR-15, to issue a statement the same day asking, ‘When will enough be enough?’ However, federal law enforcement sources told CNN Tuesday that authorities have recovered three weapons from the scene of the mass shooting, including one — a shotgun — that investigators believe Alexis brought in to the compound.
The other two weapons, which sources say were handguns, may have been taken from guards at the Navy complex. The sources, who have detailed knowledge of the investigation, cautioned that initial information that an AR-15 was used in the shootings may have been incorrect. It is believed that Alexis had rented an AR-15, but returned it before Monday morning’s shootings. Authorities are still investigating precisely how many weapons Alexis had access to and when.”
Only an insane society would restrict the liberties of healthy people based on the actions of the disturbed.
Urge Congress to not vote for Gun Control legislation! The Second Amendment is still valid!
Please know: Nothing in the previous Manchin-Toomey bill would have affected this situation.
The Navy Yard shooter was a deeply-disturbed individual. He had a long history of unbelievable outbursts which authorities should have looked at before the shootings. The upcoming political discussions should not be about gun control, but about mental illness and the people the system isn’t catching!
Another question: Who in the world called a “STAND DOWN” call?

The Left’s anti-gun legislation would not have made any difference in the D.C. Navy Yard shooting. Yet, President Obama and his minions want to use this as an example to limit the use of guns for law-abiding, taxpaying citizens.
Let the wishes of our country’s founding fathers be known about the Second Amendment.
