I am writing to express my outrage at the recent actions of Attorney General Merrick Garland and to demand that Congress take immediate and decisive action. Yesterday, Congress voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress due to his blatant refusal to hand over audio of Special Counsel Robert Hur's interview with President Joe Biden about his handling of classified documents. The consequence of being held in contempt of Congress is imprisonment, and Congress must now act accordingly. Garland has been covering up for Biden and his family for far too long, and the American people are fed up with this blatant charade. We DEMAND that Garland is not only impeached from his position as Attorney General but also imprisoned.

Merrick Garland is no stranger to covering up for the Biden family. Last year, he was involved in the disgraceful Hunter Biden plea deal, where he continually crafted cover-ups to protect Biden's son. Highly credible IRS whistleblowers Joseph Ziegler and Gary Shapley revealed that during the criminal investigation, "Justice Department officials slowed down the criminal probe into Hunter Biden’s tax issues, hindered their efforts to obtain subpoenas and search warrants, and repeatedly hindered prosecutors from filing felony charges."

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Jim Jordan brought attention to Hunter's corrupt business dealings with Burisma, a Ukrainian company. He pointed out that Hunter had taken a highly lucrative position at Burisma for which he was grossly unqualified and that Burisma executives had indicated they were "under pressure." Jordan also asserted that President Biden, then Vice President, worked to have a prosecutor investigating the company fired.

It is painfully clear that Hunter Biden has been treated with outrageous leniency during this investigation. He received nothing more than a slap on the wrist for committing tax fraud. Reports and whistleblower testimony have alleged that Hunter Biden, in collaboration with his father, funneled millions of dollars from his foreign dealings into companies to evade taxation. Astonishingly, all they have faced for these felonies is the Justice Department allowing potential charges to expire.

Following the typical script of Biden's allies, Garland evaded direct questions from Jordan and Thomas Massie, instead deferring to future statements by Special Counsel David Weiss. It is evident that he is in contempt of Congress, obstructing its constitutional duty of oversight—another compelling reason for his impeachment.

Furthermore, during questioning related to the January 6th protest, when Massie asked about the presence and activities of FBI informants at the protests, Garland's response was infuriatingly evasive: "I don't know whether there were any," right after indicting Ray Epps on a misdemeanor.

Now, in 2024, Garland is once again covering up for the Biden family, this time refusing to hand over audio of Special Counsel Robert Hur's interview with President Joe Biden about his handling of classified documents. The excuse given was that Hur declined to prosecute Biden, in part because a jury might sympathize with him as an "elderly man with a poor memory."

There is no alternative for Congress: Garland should not just be impeached, but he must be imprisoned. Garland and the DOJ have demonstrated their blatant partiality. They have impeded the Hunter Biden investigation, withheld the Biden audio interview, obstructed efforts to secure subpoenas and search warrants, and repeatedly hindered prosecutors from filing felony charges. Garland has shown nothing but contempt for Congress, refusing to provide straightforward answers and obstructing its constitutional duty of oversight. The punishment for this crime is imprisonment. Our government must be composed of individuals loyal to the Constitution and the people above all else. Garland does not meet this standard; he is loyal to Biden and the Biden Crime Family. IMPEACH & IMPRISON HIM!
