The recent attack on Israel by HAMAS, coupled with the United States' resolute support for our ally, has once again underscored the pressing need for the immediate closure and thorough security of our southern border, as well as the swift deportation of the millions of illegal immigrants who have unlawfully entered our nation.

The border crisis continues to escalate, and it is imperative that Congress takes immediate and decisive action. The issue of our open border poses a grave threat to our great nation, one that seeks to undermine the values that have made this country free and prosperous. We must secure our border now!

Since President Biden assumed office, over seven million illegal immigrants have crossed the US southern border. In September 2023 alone, at least 260,000 illegal immigrants have crossed over. This is an alarming crisis that cannot be swept under the rug.

The consequences of this border invasion are catastrophic. An open border has facilitated human trafficking, resulting in the enslavement and transport of women and children into the United States. Shockingly, over 85,000 unaccompanied minors are unaccounted for, putting their safety and well-being at risk.

Furthermore, we are witnessing a surge in the availability of fentanyl on our streets, particularly affecting our homeless population, and an alarming increase in crime rates. All these facts alone justify the urgent need to close the border. However, the recent attack on Israel underscores the gravity of this situation.

It has come to light that not only individuals from Mexico or South America are crossing our border but also individuals from Africa and the Middle East. This poses a significant security risk to our nation.

Our open border allows practically anyone to enter our country without proper documentation. ICE has openly admitted that they often lack the necessary documentation to verify addresses and track individuals who have come through. This raises the question: who is entering our country, and what are their intentions?

Moreover, many illegal immigrants are being provided with resources, including hotels and reloadable credit cards issued by the government. These are resources that even the average struggling American citizen cannot easily access. There are legitimate concerns that terrorists receiving resources from our government could pose a threat to American citizens. This is unacceptable and must end.

In times of war, whether the United States is involved or not, we must secure our nation, close our border, fund our security and resources, and support our people – not illegal immigrants, not infiltrators, but our own citizens. Congress, it is your solemn duty to close the border NOW!

The border crisis is tearing at the fabric of our nation, exacerbating problems in so-called sanctuary cities, contributing to inflation, and allowing crime, drugs, and disorder to take hold. Regrettably, it appears that not only is Congress complicit in this crisis, but it is also actively contributing to it through inaction and indifference. We are being attacked on multiple fronts, and it is apparent that this is part of a larger plan to weaken our nation. We must use our voices and demand that Congress closes the border immediately.

Congress must take swift and decisive action to close the border, secure it, and reinstate robust processes to ensure that immigrants entering the United States have good intentions, are free of criminal charges, and can contribute to the greatness of our nation. Close the border now! The United States is a land of promise, safety, and God-given rights, and it is our collective responsibility to keep it that way.
