Now, with a mere 11 days left on the clock, you are expected to miraculously pass the remaining 11 bills and save us from a disastrous government shutdown.

I understand that conflicts within the House and Senate make it unlikely for these bills to pass in time. Thus, we are staring at the impending need for yet another stopgap bill, extending the fiscal year until December. This is not a new occurrence. It is deeply disappointing and, quite frankly, exhausting to witness the repeated use of this stopgap measure.

A government shutdown is not a mere inconvenience; it is a devastating blow to the very citizens you are sworn to serve. It affects countless lives and has real, tangible consequences. It is your solemn duty to prevent such a catastrophe while upholding our country's values, respecting the people's demands, and preserving our Constitution.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room – unnecessary spending. Initiatives like Biden's Ukraine funding project, or what can aptly be described as a money laundering scheme, have no place in our budget. It is high time to cut out wasteful spending, embark on the journey to balance the budget, and wrestle with the monster of inflation, which is wreaking havoc on the livelihoods of everyday Americans. All of this must be done while keeping the government open.

However, it seems that not everyone shares this commitment to keeping the government running smoothly. It appears that some among you are more interested in profiting from a government shutdown, putting personal interests ahead of the American people. One such person, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, has been accused of trying to force a government shutdown for his political gain.

Senator Marsha Blackburn has expressed her concerns, stating that Schumer is using this tactic to "hang on to the U.S. Senate" and halt investigations into the Biden family. If founded, this political maneuvering is disgraceful and runs counter to the principles of our nation and good governance.

The American people have consistently made their demands clear. The budget must be balanced, excessive spending curtailed, and the rampant inflation addressed. We cannot afford to send funds abroad when our own citizens are struggling. Congress, it is high time you represented the people, set aside your bickering, and focused on the citizens of the United States.

Pass the spending bills promptly, cease your political games, and prioritize the well-being of the American people. It is your solemn duty to balance the budget, fight inflation, and, above all, keep the government OPEN. Do not allow for a shutdown, especially one that is politically charged and driven by self-interest.

Our nation deserves better than the chaos and dysfunction that currently prevails. It is time for you to step up, put aside your differences, and fulfill your responsibilities to the American people.
