BREAKING: BILLIONS for Biden's New Spending Project — He Should Plant Some Trees!
This past Friday, the Biden Administration, in conjunction with the Department of Energy, shockingly committed a staggering $1.2 billion out of a supposed $3.5 billion dollar plan toward what they call "Direct Air Capture (DAC) removal" in the states of Texas and Louisiana. These DAC hubs are claiming to remove a million metric tons of CO2 annually.
This technology, which remains largely untested on a large scale both technologically and economically, and carries unknown environmental and social impacts, is being funded by billions of dollars that we realistically don't have and shouldn't be squandering.
To add insult to injury, the most laughable aspect of all this is that each DAC Hub is only projected to eliminate a million metric tons, while the nation's forests and forest products remove an astonishing 866 million metric tons of carbon dioxide every year.
If we're genuinely interested in reducing CO2, why aren't we investing in planting trees? Clearly it is significantly more effective, vastly less costly, and at the end of the day, the trees will, shockingly, absorb CO2 from the air for free!
This project is simply another costly and meaningless endeavor for the Biden administration to throw your hard-earned taxpayer dollars away. Our nation is drowning in debt, inflation is spiraling out of control, and fundamental issues afflicting our nation remain unattended.
Our elected officials must halt this careless spending that has become all too routine, and redirect our tax dollars toward something that tangibly benefits the American people and addresses the pressing domestic concerns.
The time has come to take a stand – the checkbook needs to be pried from Biden's grip. Perhaps he could start planting some trees in the interim!
Act now, send your instant FaxBlast, and tell our elected officials that this reckless spending must cease, that we do not endorse billions of dollars being poured into a frankly useless and ineffective project! We demand change!
