You can’t stop the truth, and the truth about elections is coming out fast and furious. As my legislator, you cannot no longer pretend that US elections are anything more than theater. 

In September 2022, the Gateway Pundit released police body cam footage that revealed an alleged ballot harvesting operation, conducted by Deborah Peoples, Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare’s opponent in the 2022 election.

Tarrant County has been in the election spotlight since 2020 when more than 30% of the estimated 60,000 ballots experienced tabulation issues. The ballots rejected were printed by Runbeck, the embattled election vendor that has faced significant fraud allegations and citizen opposition across the nation. 

Often, government competitive contracting requirements are waived for Runbeck, and they get many of their contracts under the guise of “sole-source” – or, in other words, government favors. This happened recently in El Paso County and Mesa County in Colorado. Runbeck is the same company that printed the ballots in Maricopa County’s 2020 and more recent 2022 election that led to the November 8 midterm disaster. 

Back to Tarrant County, TX, former Smartmatic employee and county Elections Administrator Heider Garcia resigned on Sunday to Tarrant County Judge O’Hare, effective June 23, 2023. He will stay on through the county’s May 6, 2023 local election. In his resignation letter, Garcia wrote “Judge O’Hare, my formula to ‘administer a transparent election’ stands on respect and zero politics; compromising on these values is not an option for me. You made it clear in our last meeting that your formula is different, thus, my decision to leave.”

Garcia has never administered a transparent election. He has repeatedly engaged in obstruction of Tarrant County citizens’ self governance. And his resignation is additional evidence that the “safe and secure elections” narrative is crumbling – fast. 

DEMAND FOR REMEDY: Enough theater with US elections. The more government entities obstruct the efforts for the truth, the deeper the hole you dig for yourselves. Nothing can stop the truth about elections from coming out.
