The amnesty bill that your Democrat colleagues are now fast-tracking is dangerous and must be stopped at all costs!

For decades, Democrats and Republicans have talked about "comprehensive immigration reform." This was nothing more than a proposed trade: amnesty for some illegal aliens in exchange for more border security and changes to the asylum system to prevent fraud and abuse.

Both parties have never been able to come to an agreement, but they understood there would need to be a trade if either side hoped to get what they wanted.

Fast-forward to today and your Democrat colleagues are abandoning this negotiation and choosing to advance a clean amnesty bill. Now tucked away in the $3.5 Trillion spending package are provisions to give millions of illegal aliens permanent residency and a pathway to citizenship.

No border wall construction... No fixes to the abused asylum system... Just mass amnesty.

Their plan would give amnesty to 8+ million illegal aliens right off the bat. Then, it would provide permanent residency and a pathway to citizenship to hundreds of foreign nationals living in the US under Temporary Protected Status. These are people who fled natural disasters decades ago and just don't want to go back home. Lastly, the bill would grant amnesty and a pathway to citizenship to so-called "essential" illegal alien workers.

There is no such thing as an "essential" illegal worker. Considering how high unemployment still is, it is unconscionable for you - an elected official - to prioritize illegal workers over your own constituents.

This is a bad bill. It is such a bad bill, it is being snuck into the annual spending package. The legislation's authors know it would never survive a standalone vote. Their only chance to pass it is to threaten a government shutdown if they don't get their way.

If you allow this to pass, it will do untold damage to the country. And I am not just talking about how insane it is to put upwards of 10 million illegal aliens on a pathway to citizenship without even debating the issue... It would also do irreparable damage to our legislative process.

Democrats hold a five vote majority in the House of Representatives and a tie-breaker majority in the Senate. Current polling suggests Democrats will lose both chambers in the next election. It is unconscionable for a party with such a small majority to even fathom ramming through such a controversial bill.

The American people deserve better than this...

You have the power to stop this. I am demanding that you kill this bill. I don't care what it takes, you cannot allow these amnesty provisions to become law.

Any Congressman or Senator who votes for this insanity, or allows it to pass, will be removed from office. That is not a threat, it is a promise...
