On May 11, Fauci testified before the United States Senate and was asked - point blank - whether he had ever authorized NIH funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Fauci said no.

After Sen. Rand Paul gently reminded Fauci that he was incorrect and that NIH funds had flowed into the Wuhan Institute, Paul asked Fauci whether the NIH had ever funded "Gain of Function" research at the Wuhan lab.

"The NIH and NIAID categorically has not funded gain of function research to be conducted in the Wuhan Institute," Fauci responded.

That was also a lie. Gain of Function research was conducted at the Wuhan Lab by researchers who were receiving NIH funding.

Yesterday, Fauci was again given an opportunity to "clarify." Fauci admitted in testimony that NIH funding *may* have gone towards Gain of Function research at the Wuhan Lab, there is no way to be 100% sure. That is a far cry from Fauci's "categorical" statement that he made under oath just two weeks prior.

This is what we call a "Lie." Because this lie was delivered under oath, Fauci violated 18 U.S. Code § 1621 and committed perjury.This is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. A number of your colleagues are preparing criminal referrals but one thing is abundantly clear: Fauci must be removed as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

And it's not even the first lie that Fauci told under oath. Months prior, Fauci was asked by Rand Paul whether his decision to double-mask was political theater since he had already been vaccinated. Fauci angrily responded, "No." Well, in subsequent television interviews, Fauci admitted that he has known vaccinated people do not need to wear one mask, let alone two, but chose to continue advocating the policy anyway because he didn't want to send "mixed messages." Again, Fauci lied, under oath.

He has lied to the American people, and Congress, far too often to be ignored. These lies have had real consequences, ruining lives and livelihoods.

Luckily, there is a solution. Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) has just introduced H.R. 3140, the Fauci Incompetence Requires Early Dismissal (FIRED) Act.

The legislation is simple: it would create a 12-year term limit for the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Since Anthony Fauci has held the position since 1984 (37 years), he would be immediately fired upon the bill's passage.

We have a serious problem of bureaucratic accountability in this country. Anthony Fauci has worked at the NIH since 1968. He is the highest paid employee in the entire Federal Government. Out of the 4 million Americans who work for Uncle Sam, there is not one who is paid more than Anthony Fauci.

He truly believes he is untouchable. Fauci believes he can lie with impunity, no matter how many laws he breaks or lives he ruins. He has advocated draconian lockdown policies that have led to the worst erosion of American liberty ever seen in this country. And despite all evidence showing it is not, and never was, necessary, Fauci wants to continue with this tyranny.

"Doctor" Anthony Fauci must be relieved of his position immediately.
