This week, Biden was interrupted by a protester demanding that he shut down immigration detention facilities and abolish ICE. Stunningly, Biden responded, “I agree with you. I’m working on it, man. Give me another five days."

In truth, Biden doesn't need to abolish Border Patrol or ICE. His policies are having the same effect.

Illegal aliens who are apprehended at the border are now being promptly released into the United States. Some are being given "Notices to Appear" in court for a deportation hearing. Some are even being released without any court date, leaving it up to the illegal alien to turn themselves in once they reach their destination city. The ones who do get NTA documents get court dates an average of 2 years from now. Almost all of them end up skipping their deportation hearings. When they are ordered deported from the country in absentia, the law requires them to be fined $500 each day they illegally remain in the US. But Biden just suspended those fines. So illegal aliens who game the system, force their way into the country, and skip their deportation hearing will not be fined or punished for illegally remaining in the US.

This is what total amnesty looks like. It is shameful that you allowed it to get this bad.

Joe Biden refuses to even call it a crisis. He is even lying and claiming that the border non-crisis is getting better. It's not, he's just releasing illegal aliens into the country...

Lindsey Graham has a bill that would fix this. It is called the Secure and Protect Act. Instead of other immigration bills that prioritize amnesty for illegal aliens, this one actually focuses on fixing the border crisis.

First, it would hire 500 immigration judges to eliminate the 2-year-long court backlog. This is common sense.

Second, it would increase the detention time in the Flores Settlement from 20 days to 100 days. Right now, smugglers are trafficking children because the law treats children and "family units" differently. Smugglers know that if they show up at the border with a child, they are guaranteed to be released into the US within 20 days. That has led these criminals to abduct and even purchase young children to try to game the system and force their way into the country. When combined with the surge of immigration judges, this new 100-day cap would end the practice of child separation, disincentivize child trafficking, and allow US officials to fully vet asylum claims without having to release people into the country.

And most importantly, the bill would change how the US defines "credible fear of persecution" for asylum purposes. Migrants would no longer be allowed to walk across entire continents and claim that the only safe place for them to live is in the United States. The change would require that asylum seekers apply in every safe country that they reach and only after they are rejected there would they be allowed to apply in the US. This would put a stop to the illegal alien caravans and 'forum shopping' all together.

This is common sense. It respects the rights of legitimate asylum seekers while also cracking down on the fraud, ending family separations, and disincentivizing child trafficking.

Unfortunately, so many of your colleagues are more interested in rewarding asylum fraud and illegal border crossings... If they get what they want and are able to offer amnesty and citizenship to any illegal alien who steps a single toe onto US soil, this crisis will get one hundred times worse...

This is a national security issue. This is a public safety issue. This is a human rights issue. If you are too afraid to honor your oath and protect the American people, I will make it my mission in life to force you out of office.

Pass the Secure and Protect Act right now or I promise you will be removed from office...
