Joe Biden is set to name his Gun Control Czar this week and the first order of business will be to advance his plan to tax the 2nd Amendment out of existence.

The plan would force Americans who own semi-automatic "assault weapons" and so-called "high capacity magazines" to either pay taxes for the privilege to continue owning them,or surrender their firearms and magazines. If you're able to afford the thousands in taxes, your name will be added to a gun owner registry, which Democrats could then use to confiscate them in the future.

Joe Biden is set to name his "Gun Violence Prevention Czar." Ignore the fancy title, this person will be tasked with working day-in and day-out to develop new ways to restrict the 2nd Amendment.

When the Founders ratified the words "shall not be infringed," this is precisely what they were worried about.

The leading plan, however, is to tax gun owners into submission. Joe Biden wants to add semi-automatic weapons and so-called "high capacity magazines" under the purview of the National Firearms Act of 1934.

Essentially, this would allow the ATF to regulate semi-automatic firearms the same way it regulates rocket launchers and machine guns...

Americans would be forced to pay $200 per offending firearm or magazine. Even modest firearm collectors would see tax bills totalling into the thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars. Some Leftists are even advocating a steeper tax that is pegged to inflation, that way the tax goes up over time.

If Americans can afford this tax, then they would be added to an ATF registry. This has always been the gun control movement's goal. World history shows us that every time a government registers gun owners, that database is eventually used to confiscate their guns...

If they can't afford these steep taxes, then Americans would face a choice: they can deactivate, modify, destroy, or surrender their firearms/magazines to become compliant, or they can break the law and face up to 10 years in prison per gun and per magazine...

Gun control advocates believe this is a win-win-win. The only "loser" would be Americans looking to defend themselves and their families...

I must remind you of the oath that you swore. You swore to uphold and defend the Constitution. Not parts of the Constitution... ALL of it.

Right now, there are domestic enemies in the White House and the Congress conspiring to dismantle the 2nd Amendment and transform firearm ownership into a taxable privilege.

You must honor your oath. You must kill this firearm tax proposal and any other legislation designed to turn the 2nd Amendment into a privilege.
