When you and your colleagues passed the stimulus package (H.R. 133) last week, it was clear that you hadn't read it.

Purely as a matter of fact, there was no way to read, digest, and debate the full 5,593 pages of the bill in the 2 hours that Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell allowed.

We are now getting a better picture of just what you voted for.

While millions of Americans are struggling to make ends meet, you voted to give a new tax break to people who own racehorses. You voted to give the Kennedy Center another $40.4 million, even though the last time they received "stimulus," they immediately laid off their musicians....

You voted to allocate $3.4 Billion for "Migration and Refugee Assistance." With tens of millions of Americans out of work, you voted to bring more people into the country to compete with Americans for jobs...

$179 million will go towards building Africa's electric grid, the Peace Corps will get $410 million, $3 million will support "freedom" in Hong Kong, $10 million will go towards Pakistani gender studies programs, and $15 million will go to help Sri Lanka repair one of their boats.

You sent $85.5 million to Cambodia, $135 million to Burma, $453 million to Ukraine, $130 million to Nepal, $500 million to Israel, $1.3 billion to Egypt, $700 million to Sudan, and $1.5 billion to the Asia Reassurance Initiative.

All while claiming that there wasn't enough money to give Americans any more than $600...

What you did last week - prioritizing the needs of foreign countries ahead of your own constituents - will go down in history as one of Congress' most shameful acts... But it doesn't have to be this way.

President Trump signed the bill into law, but he took a red pen to all of this insane foreign aid spending and invoked the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 to freeze it. Using this power, President Trump has frozen the foreign aid spending for 45 legislative days. He wanted to make sure Americans could receive their aid in a timely manner.

This sends the foreign aid back to Congress. Many of your colleagues want to simply wait for the 45 legislative days to pass so the aid can be unfrozen. That is because they are terrified of being forced to hold another on-the-record vote on this. Now that the American people know what is in the bill, it would be political suicide to vote for it again.

I am writing to you to make sure you understand that you will not be able to get away with just sitting on your hands and allowing the foreign aid to become unfrozen. If you do not force a vote right now and fully rescind every cent of the foreign aid that got snuck into the bill, you will be held accountable.

Instead of worrying about what will happen to you if you are forced to vote again, you should be far more worried about what will happen if you don't vote again...

It is one thing to claim you didn't know what was in the bill or didn't have time to read it. But now that you know what was slipped into the spending package in lieu of assistance for Americans, you must make it right.

I am demanding that you force a vote on President Trump's rescission request and formally rescind all of the ridiculous foreign aid giveaways that your colleagues slipped into the "stimulus" bill.

If you refuse to put America and Americans first, you will be removed from office!
