There is a push right now in Congress to pass radical new gun control legislation.

Thanks to the coronavirus lockdowns, many states have forced gun stores to shut down. As a result, we have seen a surge in law abiding gun owners learning how to make their own firearm.

It is legal under Federal law for a law abiding citizen to make a legal firearm, as long as it is for personal use (and not for profit). It has always been legal for an American to build their own firearm.

Many of your Democrat colleagues are furious because law abiding Americans figured out a way to arm themselves even with the gun stores closed. So, Democrats are calling this a "loophole" that needs to be closed immediately.

At the center of this effort is a bill called the Stop Home Manufacture of Ghost Guns Act. This legislation would make it a crime to possess a "firearm manufacturing machine" without a license.

What is a "firearm manufacturing machine?" Pretty much any hand or power tool...

The bill is deliberately vague on this, with the goal of encompassing as many power tools as possible. This is an insane bill.

And yet, it is being presented as a "compromise."

Whether you want to exercise it or not, you have a right to build a firearm. If the government becomes tyrannical and shuts down all gun sales, you have the right to build your own. That is a right given to us by our creator.

Democrats know that gun control is impossible if Americans can build their own AR-15s or Glock handguns. That is why they are trying to outlaw tthe machinery to do it!

I don't care what it takes. You must KILL this bill!
