Biden, along with many of his Democratic party members, can't help but threaten Americans' 2nd Amendment rights. Throughout his campaign, typically spearheaded by VP Kamala Harris, Biden and his allies have vowed to strip Americans of what they define as “high-capacity assault weapons.” Last week, during his ramblings at the State of the Union address, Biden “renewed” his vow to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. The response from Congress to this assault on our rights? Cheering and clapping. The GOP, or any of Congress for that matter, not once stood up for the people of the United States and our rights. Congress must stand steadfast in defending our rights, especially our right to bear arms. They must SAY NO to Biden's threats towards our 2nd Amendment and defend our Constitution!

Last Thursday, during the State of the Union address, Joe Biden signaled he would stay the course on his aggressive push for new gun restrictions, specifically with the banning of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. This is part of his agenda for the things he plans to do if he is reelected for a second term, and another reason why he must not be reelected. Biden claimed during his speech that attacking our Second Amendment was at the top of his priority list. Biden then went on to claim that “None of this violates the Second Amendment or vilifies responsible gun owners.”

Here's the problem: in usual Democrat vague fashion, Biden, along with other proponents of banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, fail to exactly define what an assault weapon is, leaving room for greater, harmful interpretation. Secondly, and most obviously, the 2nd Amendment gives the citizens of the United States the right to bear arms. This amendment does not say the right to bear arms except… It grants the citizens of the United States the right to bear arms, which includes “assault weapons” and “high-capacity magazines,” meaning Biden is indeed infringing upon and threatening the 2nd Amendment.

Biden and Democrats continue to launch assaults on the 2nd Amendment, and if they are not doing that, then they are threatening the American people with their plans of tyranny, control, and quite frankly draconian policies. Congress must stand up for the people and say no! The GOP failing to voice their dissent towards Biden's threats to our 2nd Amendment at the State of the Union address shows their complacency to the left's tyranny, something that must END NOW!

It's high time that Congress stands up for the people and does not take these threats lightly. Any attack on our Constitution is an attack on the People; it must be taken seriously. Congress says NO to Biden's planned assault on our 2nd Amendment! Defend our rights, and uphold our Constitution!
