Democrats just can't seem to stop attempting to infringe upon our Second Amendment rights and pass stringent gun control laws. Amidst the push for billions to be sent overseas, the urgent border crisis, and Congress’s complete incompetence this week, Democrats have decided to sneakily reintroduce previously failed proposals, representing an exhaustive list of almost all the gun control bills they have been advocating for. Democrats and all of Congress need to understand one thing: We the People will never accept Draconian gun control laws meant to disarm the population! We categorically DEMAND that our Congressional members push back against ALL gun control laws that the tyrannical left is attempting to pass!

The "Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2023" (Act) is back and as terrible as ever. This bill has been introduced in Congress in each session since at least 2015. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) reintroduced the bill in the Senate last week, on Dec. 6.

So, what would this Act do if passed?

The bills within this Act would nullify current laws and establish stricter gun regulations, requiring a federal or state-issued license to “purchase or own a firearm or ammunition,” calling for universal background checks, increasing the minimum age for buying a firearm or ammunition to 21, setting a 7-day waiting period for all firearm sales, and banning homemade firearms along with certain semi-automatic rifles, so-called “assault weapons,” and funding a buyback program.

Given that this bill has been introduced in each session since 2015, it's clear that it has never gained much traction. However, these bills do reveal an ulterior motive. Why are our Congressional members repeatedly allowed to introduce and reintroduce bills that undermine our rights stated in the Constitution? These bills have only served the purpose of allowing the fanatical left a testing ground for whether the public will allow them to take away their rights. Enough is enough.

Congress doesn't just need to push back on this bill as they have done every year; they need to completely stomp it out of the realm of possibility. We the People will not have our Second Amendment right deliberated on every single session with the goal of undermining our rights. We pay Congress... to do what, you ask? To debate whether they should enforce tyrannical gun control laws that strip us of our rights. This is unacceptable and must CEASE! We the People will never accept Draconian gun control laws meant to disarm the population! We categorically DEMAND that our Congressional members push back against ALL gun control laws that the tyrannical left is attempting to pass, stop DEBATING our rights; they are non-negotiable!
